Current Pictures Taken (Post under this) by Yearbook Staff
Below is a list of the celebrities/models/unknowns that are being or have been used by the characters of this site. The pictures will be updated each new term by me so that you can at least see your characters age. I ask that when you choose a person, you choose one that has a vast age range (Disney stars, or actors/actresses who began their careers at a young age) otherwise it is very difficult and time consuming for me to find pictures that suit the ages of your characters. (Also, I do not normally take personal requests for specific images). Please note that we are asking you to also not use people who are being represented by Sapienti University students because alumni have attended this school. A list of these character representations has been provided.
If you've decided to change who you have, please let me know by replying to this with the name of your new person and a picture. I ask that you do not change your representation more than once.
New Authors, if you have trouble finding pictures of someone who you think would be a great fit for your character, check out some sites like gettyimages (Please do not provide images with watermarks! I will not use water mark images on the list or in the yearbook) or another image site and see if you can find anything there. Just remember that if you use a model from these sites, I will not be able to update these pictures each term. If you're still having trouble, post your character's description on here and people will do their best to help you look.
***** WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY PHOTOS FROM SCALLYWAGS OR OTHER MODELING AGENCIES THAT ARE ESTABLISHED TO FIND MODELING JOBS FOR UP AND COMING MODELS UNLESS THEIR AGENCY SPECIFIES THAT THEIR IMAGES ARE FOR PUBLIC USE.*****

EVERYONE PLEASE READ!! IMPORTANT by Yearbook Staff
Hey Everyone!I have been giving this a lot of thought after updating the list for pictures and have decided that there ought to be a posting rule in order to claim a face since I have come across several faces of people who are just never posted or only posted once or twice in order to maintain an active status. I do not find this to be fair for everyone who is actively getting their characters out there.
So, starting this term, in order for the face you are requesting to be officially your character’s face, you have to post in at least 5 different threads (2 threads must be after midterm so that I know you are still active). I will include one sign up post as one of the threads since I know Quidditch is pretty busy.
Some authors might find this to not be fair, but I really don’t think asking for 5 posts is a lot especially since they are first year students who are the ones that need the most development. You have orientation, opening feast, roommate threads, classes, a sign up, and plenty of other opportunities for posting.
If an author does not post in at least 5 different threads, they will lose the right to that face and can try again in the following term. Please note that if we come to find that more authors are actively attempting to post and it shows, this rule may be implemented into the active student list as well (currently there is a 4 post rule but it is only being used for new characters, this may extend to ALL characters, long time authors or not).
Thank you everyone!

Yeah by Yearbook Staff
The rule for being active by the Yearbook standards is to have two threads before and two threads after midterm. This is mostly for me to know who of the new students is still around. It's notated in my yearbook survey post that I do every term. However, like the face claims, I have noticed that many characters are not active by this rule and I only keep them on the list because the authors are active in chatzy, etc. I don't think it's fair to other authors who are getting their characters posted to vote for ones that aren't. So, I may be extended the active rule onto all characters instead of just new ones.

Just an idea... by Joella & Co
I put this on chatzy but was told you won't be on there much: I think the new faceclaim rule is a good one, but in addition I thought could there not also be some sort of expiry date? It's just that there are some really old faceclaims taken by characters that were at Sonora absolutely ages ago. I get that some alumni are still active on wts or have children at Sonora now so it makes sense for those faceclaims to stay but for the characters who have long since disappeared, is it worth having them keep their faceclaims?

Answer by Yearbook Staff
This question has come up before and my answer will remain the same for the time veing. Although the authors are gone, the characters still existed in Sonora and there may be a chance that those authors return (we have had a handful of returning authors these past couple of terms) which may make their past characters active again. For now, I will be keeping them as off limits. Thanks.

If you're having trouble... by Selina
... consult the hive mind (i.e. chatzy). We have some authors who are really good at matching descriptions to faces, and it expands it beyond the actors you know. There's also some useful resources out there, such as IMDB lists ('Best child actors of 2016' or whatever) so you can browse for faces.

Thanks but I'm okay. by Joella & Co
I like to think I'm one of those authors haha. You know I've helped you in the past!I was actually asking on behalf of another author who thought a faceclaim was free because it didn't show up when they searched. The reason for that was just because it was spelt incorrectly. But it's okay, I have found a replacement faceclaim for them which they seem happy with.
So if anyone is struggling with faceclaims, come to me! I have way more faces than I need.
