Questions by Seven Grayscale

Seven found Professor [Tarte] to be quite the interesting character for two reasons. One, he was head of the Aladren House. (What kind of person fit the qualities of being the lead figure of such a straight-forward house?) Two, he seemed quite strange. Like there was more to him than let on.

Seven did not care enough to intentionally find out more about him, he had himself to worry about, but if he were to find out more along the year, that'd be perfectly fine. He and his peers came along to a grand room filled with books. It had to be the library.

Seven took notice as Professor [Tarte] explained the bookshelf.

'Ah, so it is the key to the Common Room.'

The blonde took into note that the book was called 'Birds of Prey. He had never heard of it, so he assumed it was by a muggle author.

Seven stepped into the Common Room. His gray eyes already scanning the cavernous room. It was gorgeous in its own way. His analysis was interrupted by the talking of Professor [Tarte].

He explained the various rules and introduced the prefects. Seven took a quick glance at Wolseithcrafte and Lucan. He also took a quick peek at the Head-Girl, too.

It was nice to know that his house had respectable roles. Apparently, they've won the Quidditch Cup for the past few years. And while he cared not for the barbaric sport, he had to admit that he liked to win.

After Professor [Tarte] was finished, Seven cleared his throat.

"Well, about the sleeping arrangements. How exactly are they set up? By name? By year?" He asked. He could feel the eyes of his House on him, but it didn't bother him, of course.

Grayscales always caught the attention of others.

None from he. by Seven Grayscale

Seven shook his head slightly to show that he understood and headed up the stairs to the door with a "1" on the front. He opened the door and was quite impressed with how it looked. It was on par with his tastes, that was for sure.

Seven picked the bed closest to the window and set his belongings on it.

'This is real now.' He thought to himself as he started to unpack. During the whole time, the orientation, the Sorting, the Common Room, it all seemed as if it weren't happening then. It was as if it were from another life or time. But being there in the room he found just how reality can crash upon one who isn't expecting it.

He started to wonder how his roommates would be. Were they loud? Were they quiet? Did they study all hours of the day like he did? Were they born in America? Would they find him weird because of his accent? All these questions swarmed through his head. In some deep cavern that contained Seven's thoughts, he was bubbling with curiosity for what to come.
