Beanbag fun! [Connie; cont. from Cascade]
by Jethro Smythe
OOC: Fuzzy time is the best...
This was an unusual day, Jethro consider. Or, at the very least, an unusual thing had occured in what might otherwise have been a perfectly normal day. A person had actually voluntarily decided to spend time with Jethro. People had agreed to spend time with him before, certainly, but nobody had ever approached him to work together (Jethro'd always been the one to initiate partnerships in class), socialise together (Cynthia had asked Rachel to go to the ball with him), or even be in the same room with him when it was avoidable (as he family demonstrated every holiday).
It was therefore with pleasure and surprise that Jethro joined Connie in the gardens to play with the beanbags. He wasn't sure what a bean bag was, exactly, but he was open to discovery. He also liked to be outdoors, and Connie seemed like a very nice person.
"So," Jethro said once they were outside. "How do we play?" he was eager to get started with the game, because games were fun, and because he would maybe get to know Connie better. Then, if she liked playing the game, too, they might spend some time together in the future. Jethro thought it might be nice to have a friend.
