Seeking her spot back. by Amira Thornton

Amira couldn't bear to be left out of the next game. Sure, Jade had caught the snitch, but it would have been easy to do against Kate. No offence to the Teppenpaw Seeker, but she'd never caught the golden ball in a game. Never! Mir knew that. The problem was, now that Jade had caught it she had a feeling it would be MUCH harder for her to get her starting position back. Between Jose wanting Jade to seek because she'd won the game and her because she had the rightful position, the twelve year old had her guesses that he'd choose the first year.

This angered the spirited red-head to the point where she would put all her ducks in a row that it would be up to the Medic to say that she would be okay to resume her position. I don't have a choice. I have to go and show him that I'm alright. I just hope that he thinks so too. she thought to herself as she made her way to the Hospital Wing. She was determined to show Dylan Bailey that she was alright. Which honestly, she could say she'd been doing so much better already. Her headaches went from being there all the time months back to being there only every so often. The Healers at home had told her that would happen. They'd also said that happening meant that she was on the way to a full recovery and she took that as a good sign.

That bright and sunny day was one where she'd felt the best she had in a long time and this was her second sign that the time was right. She pulled opened the large doors to the Wing and called, sorta loud. “Medic!” She made sure that her voice wasn't panicked, she wasn't ill or hurt or anything anymore. In fact, she'd never felt so perfect. Her stupidity was almost only a memory and she couldn't wait until that fact was completely true.

“Hey, Medic Bailey?!” she called again. “It's me! Amira Thornton, please come out, I want to talk to you!”

The redheaded second year hoped he would come out soon. She wanted to show him that she was fine to play in the finals and she couldn't lose another moment or Jade would win out over her. The competitive Thornton girl would not, nor could not allow that to happen!
