A Summoning by Boomer
The large owl recognizable to most Sonora Quidditch Captains as belonging to Coach Pierce flew into the Hospital Wing with a speed and recklessness that demonstrated the urgency of the message he delivered. He more crashed than landed beside the medic and held out his leg for her to take the note tied haphazardly to his foot.The short note was scrawled in an urgent script that bore little resemblance to the Boston Pierce Matriarch's normal penmanship, but it was still legible enough to read:
Valerie Lennox, Crotalus Commons. High Fever. Unconscious. Come NOW.
