OOC: This is a sample post to demonstrate how posts in the application should be written, covering only a single character's actions and perspective.
Additionally, this post is open for anyone who wants further practise before term begins. Please reply taking into account what Xavier said and did, and reacting as your character. Remember that whilst you, the author, know what he is thinking, your character only sees what he does and hears what he says. BIC:
The plant looked innocent enough... Xavier was rapidly learning that, much like himself, looking innocent enough was probably not always an indicator of total innocence. Not that his exploits were exactly anything to write home about, he just had a habit of saying ‘yes’ even when he possibly shouldn’t.
He was really tempted to either poke the plant or to dare someone else to poke the plant. So far they’d come across ones that laughed when you tickled them, ones that shot spikes if you interrupted them, and he’d heard there were ones that could kill you stone dead by screaming. He didn’t actually want to die. Nor did he want anyone to get badly hurt. He knew how much it could suck to miss out due to being ill. He just really wanted to know what the plant did.
What would happen if he licked it?
He’d probably die. There were loads of plants that really didn’t want you to lick them, even in the regular world. You weren’t supposed to go around just licking stuff, but it was mad how knowing that that was a really bad idea simultaneously made the idea of licking it pop right into your head.
“Hey, you wanna see who can find three plants to safely lick before the school year’s out? Automatic disqualification if you end up in the hospital wing,” he challenged his neighbour.
