A bit of... er... cat... trouble by Paul Tarwater

As Paul walked down the halls to get from Care of Magical Creature's to the Hosptal Wing, the black haired boy realized he was still holding his puffskein, Sanctuary, to his bleeding stomach. Bleeding scratches from none other thn a Miss Sierra Anne Tarwater, Cissy for short. Of course, the story this Medic would be told would have the scratches come from a scared cat being woken up at the wrong time.

Poor Lussni, always took the blame. Paul felt bad for his cat, having the same thing happen to him once before. Once again, having to do with Cissy. But Lussni knew better than anyone the rage and pain that would come from Cissy if her cover was blown. No one knew better than the boy and his odd cat (who showed obvious signs of being practiced on).

As Paul made it into the office, he pulled Santuary away as he sat on one of the chairs. Looking at his puffskein, he saw it had little blood stains on it from his shirt. Which was sticking a bit to the cuts on his chest. Oh, stupid. "Sorry, Sanct," Paul muttered, wiping the blood away as the little puffskein seemed to purr from him stroking it. He looked around for the Medic.

"Excuse me?" he called out. "I'm a boy in a bit of pain here, coming for Care of Magical Creatures!"

What's the trouble? by Wolfe and Captain Buttkiss

"Excuse me. I'm a boy in a bit of pain here, coming for Care of Magical Creatures!" A voice called out from the Hospital Wing.

Wolfe's enthusiastic familiar bounded out of the medical office faster than you could say 'Jack Sparrow' at the sound of a new voice. A new voice meant someone new to offend. Someone new meant a chance to annoy his master. "Oy ye scurvy dog! Get ye to the cot or 'twill be Davey Jones' locker for ye!" He bounced in front of the boy not caring if the kid was injured or simply visiting the strange girl on one of the cots. The animal's black, beady eyes were full of speculation for a moment before he spoke again. "Be ye that cabin boy? I seem ta remember he gots his guts spilled just south of Skull Island."

Nicolas was unable to stop his overgrown ferret from interrogating the boy before he arrived. It wasn't his fault there were so many childern falling ill in this institution sometimes refered to as a school.

"Silencio," he muttered and flicked his wand at his familiar before addressing the boy. "Now that you've met my familiar, I believe at the moment he insists his name is Captain Buttkiss, how can I be of service young sir?"

The lie is cat by Paul

Paul was greeted (not actually much of a greeting) by an oddly large ferret, Who seemed to think it was a pirate. Paul didn't know whether to glare at the creature or gaze at it in confusion, so he chose the latter, which probably looked quite odd. Paul had jumped back when the ferret jumped in front of him, causing a little more pain in his stomach. He pressured his hand on his stomach to ease it.

Paul also saw that Sanctuary, his puffskein, was also afraid of the large ferret, for it let out a small cry and struggled up to lay in Paul's messy black hair. Paul allowed it to stay there, a bit worried the ferret would eat it. "Who are you?" Paul asked in disbelief, but was cut off by another voice stating a spell. Paul looked to see the Medic.

"Captian... Buttkiss?" Paul asked, yet again in disbelief. A small chuckle slipped out of his throat and he shook his head, pulling his hand from his stomach. "Well," Paul muttered, opening his robe to show the blood stains leaking onto his white button up shirt. "As you see, I have a few cuts..." Paul paused, trying to remember his lie. "From... my cat. I woke it up a week or so ago, and it scratched me," Paul struggled over the words, hoping they were the right ones. "The cut still opens up a lot, and I think there's something wrong."

Magically wrong, perhaps the spell Cissy used on him were meant to make the cuts open up a lot? Or maybe Paul really did just have a bad immune system, like he was always told. "My cat... has been involved with magic," Paul added. Yes, magic his sister used to torture the poor creature with. "And, I've been told I have an awful immune system. It could be one of those, but I'm pretty sure if something keeps bleeding for a week then there is something wrong."

And Jarvays, what of them? by Wolfe

Ah, the boy was bleeding and he couldn't get the wounds to clot normally. Wolfe left the boy momentarily to obtain a disinfectant and gauze. His supply shelves were in perfect order, so the process was efficient.

"Show me where your cat scratched you." He pulled the stopper out of the disinfectant. Magic shouldn't be necessary if the scratches were non-magical in origin.

"Is there anything you wanted to tell me that will help to further your treatment here?" He made sure to linger on 'anything' to stress his point. Patients lied; it was just the way of things. The odds were this child was lying too. The scratches would tell the truth.

Jarvays? *is confused* by Paul

Paul flinched when the Medic pressed his voice on the word "cat." Was it really that hard to believe a cat scratched him? Even when a cat... really didn't scratch him? But he didn't know what really happened to Paul, so why should he be suspicious. He had already said his cat was influenced by magic.

Slowly, Paul placed Sanctuary in his hair and opened his button down shirt to where the cuts were. Running diagonal across his abdomen were four thin stripes. They didn't really look like Lussni's claw marks would (Lussni was missing the middle toe on each of his paws, therefore his scratches would be more sread out than there) but it wasn't like Wolfe knew that. No one except some of the Aladrens had even seen Lussni. And who even said they paid any attention to the odd cat?

"Is there anything you wanted to tell me that will help to further your treatment here?"

Paul blinked fearfully, wondering if Wolfe had actually known he was lying. But that was impossible, right. Slowly, but not lettting his blue eyes leave the Medic's face, Paul shook his head. "I have already told you my cat has suffered from magic and spells. And that I have a poor immune system... I can't really think of anything else that I could say."

How about that Cissy did it? Paul honestly just wanted to finally jump up and say that his sister was an evil little cruel female dog. That she may come off as an innocent first year, but she wasn't. That it wasn't Lussni who hurt Paul, but rather Cissy who hurt them both. But Paul kept quite and just looked at Wolfe. Hoping he didn't look like he was ready to burst. Oh, Cissy would kill him if he even said a word.
