Meri approached the door to the hospital wing, having been shown the way, and cautiously peered in. "Hello?" she called, timidly, and ventured inside the room. "Is anyone here?" She looked around, and then looked back at her two friends and shrugged. Looks like she'd have to wait for the doctor or medic to show up.In the meantime...something was making her nose itch. She desperately reached for her handkerchief, just in time to catch a rather resounding sneeze. A couple of them actually.
She blinked her eyes furiously and tried, as ever, to fight off the sneezes by thinking of other things... like a good, exciting magic adventure she'd been reading...

Ferretting out the problem by Gwyneth
Gwyneth had gone to the Hospital Wing with her friend Meri as a show of support. She and Meri had already discovered they had a lot in common. And making new friends at a new school was hard to do, so she felt fortunate to have found a friend so much like herself. Gwyneth was normally a fairly quiet and somewhat shy person. But she was loyal to her friends and family. She knew that she wouldn't want to go see the doctor without someone with her!While they waited for the doctor to show up, she glanced around the room. It looked pretty much like any doctor's waiting area. To help pass the time and to potentially take Meri's mind off the wait, she asked, "So, what new book are you reading now?"
