Aerin le Faye stood proudly in front of her antique mirror behind her desk. "Congratulations Aer!" she smiled to herself as she adjusted her blue and black hoop earings. "You are getting the chance to pass on your knowledge to the next generation!" Aerin ran her fingers through her cropped brown hair, laughed, and picked up her sash from the top of the pile that (already) buried her desk. She looped it around her head and tied the dark blue silk at the base of her neck...right on cue with the arrival of her students.
"Welcome, munchkins, to the mystical place you will most likely ever visit here at Sonora!" Aerin waved her hands over head and turned lightly to walk around her desk, the tiny bells on her black skirt tinkling with every slight movement. "In this room, you shall learn to determine your future, decipher the stars, and of course my personal favorite, the arcaine art of scrying." Pausing for dramatic effect, Aerin took the short silence to look each student in the eye. "I can tell you are all anxious to begin, so we shall!"
"Before you are all proficient enough to truly see the future, I must first teach you the less clairvoyent techniques of my profession!" Aerin swished over to her cupboard where she kept her good china. "Today, you shall all learn how to read tea leaves!" She motioned at her students to come over. "Don't be shy! I made sure to have cups in all house colors so noone is offended and whatnot!" She was amused by the scrambling of children. Aerin chuckled to herself. "Okay once you all have your cups, water, and tealeaves, which can be found on this table right here, please let me know so I can heat your water for you."
Moving away from the table so the students could congregate at the teatable, Aerin pulled a stack of leaflets out from under the mountain of papers that was her desk. "If you're all set, please enjoy your tea! Then once there is only a little liquid left, swish it around in your cup four times and judge the shapes left in the leaves. The meaning of what you see can be found in here," she motioned to the leaflets. "Have fun and if you need any help please let me know!”
