Heads of Houses, feel free to put your speeches up any time now, and before Friday at the latest, thanks.
As the few returning staff will know, every once in a while we hold realtime staff meetings to discuss plot, prefects, etc. This is the primary use of the chatzy (its secondary use is so we can send messages to each other without spamming this staff lounge, so make sure you check the chatzy regularly).
I'd like to hold our first staff meeting of the year before the end of November, if possible. So, are there any days, times, or dates that are especially good or bad for people? Let me know ASAP, and don't forget to mention your timezone. Thanks.
The weekend of the 21st/22nd is the best weekend for me this month. I can probably also make pretty much any Sunday afternoon (I'm Eastern Standard Time) given enough notice (I'm 80% sure the birthday party I'm going to this weekend is on Saturday). Not really sure of my availability around Thanksgiving; the house I'll be staying in has internet, but there might be family stuff going on.
I work, so I'm in the office 8:30-5 M-F. I do have internet and all there so I could conceivably still make it then, but I don't think I ought to schedule an actual meeting during those times.
Speech: I've written most of it, but I'm not going to have time to finish it today. I'll do my best to have it up tomorrow afternoon.
Meeting: My availability may be somewhat limited until the second week of December, but for the remainder of November, I should be able to be fully present on Saturdays after 5:00 p.m. EST and be mostly present, with some ducking in and out, on Sundays after 2:00 p.m. through 11:00 p.m. EST.
I'm usually available on weekends. On the 20th and 21st, I have two night shows for A Christmas Carol at 8 EST and on the 22nd I have a 2:30 EST matinee...but I should be available any other time before/after :D
