Partner needed by Sally

Sally looked around at the class. Most people seemed to be finding partners, but she had no idea where to begin. Most of the people she had met would qualify as someone she would partner with normally. As for the others, well, they probably wanted to talk to her no more then she wanted to talk to them.

Now, she wasn't going to say that she hadn't been in the wrong. SHe knew she had. WIth TJ, Elizabeth, all of them. SHe had been judgemental, but they had seemed that way too, a bit. It was just a vicious cycle, one that didn't seem to be getting any better.

She looked around again, but still couldn't see anyone whom she hadn't already worked with, or wasn't really good friends with who didn't have a partner. So she decided to wait, randomly thumbing through her index, while hoping someone would offer to work with her. At this point, she really didn't care who. \n\n

Re: Partner needed by Leann

Leann sighed, not all that happy to be back in potions. She didn't like potions. It seemed to much like chemistry.

She looked around the room for a partner. Pretty much everybody was already peired off. She sighed, not wanting to be alone. She had met some people that she could partner with, but the crowd was to thick and she was still a bit tired, so she decided not to look. Besides, they might already have partners.

Looking around the room she saw a girl who seemed to be alone. Yes, she was alone. Determined to get a partner, Leann walked towards her.

"Having fun?" She asked, standing awkwardly in front of the girl.\n\n

Define Fun by Sally

"Oh, year, loads of fun," Sally replied sarcastically as she looked up at the girl. Leann, she believed. She also thought tha Leann was in her own house, but, since there didn't appear to be anyone else left, she was sure that it would slide over.

"So, do you want to be partners?" she asked hopefully. "I'm pretty good at Potions. My brothers taught me a bit of chemistry at home, and they say I'm good at that too. So, do you want to divide up the ingrediants and look in the index? It will probably go a lot faster that way."

Sally grinned at Leann. This project was turnign out to be a lot more fun then she had given it credit for originally.\n\n

Sure by Leann

"Yeah, sure." Leann said, sitting down. She opened her book. "Okay, so..." Leann looked up again.

"Oh, I'm Leann by the way. Aladren." She told the girl.\n\n

Leann, you need to write more. I'm sure you've heard this before, but it is very important. THe minimum length is supposeed to be 2 paragraghs, or about eight to ten lines. Eight to ten detailed lines. Your post was two. If you are having trouble writing this minimum, try to imagine what your character is feeling, thinking, his or her facial expression and actions, and past events that would affect their current situation.

By not writing longer posts, you are hindering the people you are having a conversation with. They need something that they can respond to. Also, by not writing very long posts, you're conveying the attitude that you don't really care. If you don't actually care, then why are you bothering to write? If you do care, then try harder, for the sake of the rest of us.

Also, please read the lesson post before beginning. By your last post, it sounds very much like you have no idea what you're suppose to be doing. Also, I said that nobody should partner with someone in their same house. Sally is also in Aladren, which means that you appear to not care what the professor said. Please show some respect for everyone else on the boards, and try to work on those kinds of things.

I'm sorry if I offended you, or seemed a bit mean, but you really do need to work on these things. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who it bugs. House points can and will be taken away if this continues. \n\n

Re: Sure by Leann

Leann turned around to think about what the potions could be. It was hard, because she had no idea any of these ingriediants existed. Looking in her text book, she found that all of these potions were very common.

"Great..." She muttered, knowing this would be had. She looked around at the teacher. Then something popped into her head. "Oh my god! Your in Aladren! I forot, you can't partner with someone in your own house! I can't believe I forgot! Jeez..." She mentally slapped herself for her stupidity. "Well, sorry Sally, but I don't want to get in trouble..." She muttered, waved her hand goodbye as if she was going away on a year long cruise, and started circleing the room, looking for somebody who might not have a partner, all the while thinking of the ingreidiants.\n\n
