OOC: Sorry it took so long to respond. Still not feeling very well and my schedule has been flipped around all week (and most of next week as well). Anywho, back to the response. BIC:
Amy felt a small stab of impatience. It had been difficult dividing her time between her duties at Sonora and her position on the team, but she had done it effectively. She had specifically set aside this time to work on her lessons (and the fact that she had even bothered to set aside time should have been considered a miracle, but she was turning over a new leaf, so to speak). Each moment of her time had to be specifically mapped out if she wanted to get everything done and this Jenkins-guy was not only invading her territory but draining away precious time.
"Yes, practice," she heard him say. Amy's lips pursed slightly. Was she imagining the underlying tone of aversion to his tone? Shaking her head, she moved to her seat, unwilling to take the time to remove the gear from his. He was the one who had invited himself after all.
She was barely comfortable when he started in, drilling her with questions. Her back instantly straightened at his insinuations as her hands tightly gripped the arms of her chair. Her eyes darted back to the trashcan before returning to him, practically shooting daggers.
"You'd like to talk to me about my position here at Sonora?" she finally repeated when he was finished. She licked her lips, biding time as she tried to reign in her temper. "Honestly, if Headmaster Bulla didn't have a problem with my character, as you put it, when he hired me on several years ago, I don't see why there is an issue now. Those incidents are in the past. Unless you give me some sort of explanation behind your questioning, I'm going to have to ask you to leave my office. I have no reason to explain my actions to you."
