After Jade had left Kiva’s office, Kiva had immediately pulled out a clean sheet of parchment and written a note to her Care of Magical Creatures Professor. Kiva felt that if she didn’t do it immediately, the Horse Club might miss an opportunity with a creature (Kiva never really knew the lesson plans the staff had to know what creature he would be currently teaching) or else, she might forget about it and then the conversation would have been a waste. Once she completed the note, she tied it to her owl and sent it off to Adrian’s office.Dear Adrian,
I recently had a meeting with Miss Jade Owen. I am not sure if you have been made aware yet or not, but Jade runs the school’s Horse Club. She was hoping to have a more of a hands on year with her club and I suggested working with you to coordinate special lessons with her club whenever you are working with Horse Species or Horse-like Species.
Jade seemed keen on the idea and I advised her that I would work with you to see if this was possible. I like that she took the initiative to allow those interested to have a more intimate session with the creatures they love so dearly. Being an animal lover yourself, I am sure you could appreciate that desire.
We also discussed the possibility of the Horse Club taking a mini field trip within the next year. They plan to raise money first before considering the places, but I may ask more of you in the future due to this. I hope that is alright. I know your substitute position has become more of a permanent fixture and I appreciate the assistance you have been able to provide to me and to this school.
Please inform me or Jade of your decision to allow her club special time with your creatures. She’s very excited about the prospect of telling her club the news. Good luck with the group!
