Merry Christmas! I'm wishing it now, as I've managed to snatch a couple of moments down time whilst the dinner cooks, but it's an appropriate moment, as it's Christmas Day across all the timezones that our diverse author base occupy (I think).
Given that three student years pass for every real year, too much has happened to mention. I will be the first to admit that I don't get a chance to read everything that goes on, but from what I have seen first hand, and the many tantalising glimpses I've had from mentions in chatzy, you have continued to dazzle me all this year with your limitless creativity and energy for posting at Sonora. You are such a fantastic community of people, and I am privileged to be a part of it.
This year, I was able to meet one of our authors, and during my Christmas visits, I'll be off to see an ex-author who remains a good friend IRL. This is such a valuable and amazing thing that Sonora adds to my life, beyond the writing, and beyond what I first imagined when joining such sites as these.
I hope you all spend very merry Christmases, however, wherever, and with whomever you celebrate, and I look forward to writing with you all, reading your posts, and hanging out in chatzy next year.
