My apologies for the slip up during the game. The original post was worked on by myself and Arista's author...I mistakenly forgot to add that portion in the post as an ooc. It won't happen again.

We didn't mean to have that happen, we're sorry. I will let others post first. *hangs head*

It's your first time playing, so some mistakes can be expected.\r\n

\r\nHowever, please note that the god-modding rule that was broken does not just apply to the fact that Arista had been written for. By completing the pass in your post, you denied every other player on the field an opportunity to interfere with that play. Quidditch posts cannot and should not be collaborated on between authors, even with an OOC, because it effectively excludes everyone else in the game from participating.\r\n

\r\nPlease review the rules in the wiki and don't hesitate to ask me if you have any questions about them so that they can be clarified and I can add them to the FAQ for future players.

I was not aware of that factor and I apologize for my goof up. I will try to write the posts a little more openly so as not to exclude anyone. Again my apologies.

Now you know, and I've also added it to the wiki's Quidditch rules because it wasn't specifically stated that way before.

Hi. I just read your post titled "Re: You're getting Annoying" where you react to Thaddeus's bludger and I am not clear exactly what happened there. As I read it, your broom was hit, there was a cracking sound, but there was no damage? Or was there damage and Carter just can't see it?

Then what was the cracking sound?

is that he heard the cracking sound, but since he's so focused on the game he didn't really look at the broom as well as he could have. I don't know this for sure, but I'll have his author respond to this when she gets home from work!

There may have been damage to the broom, however Carter hasn't been able to see it yet to know the extent.
