New word and explanation for new-comers by Henny B-F-R
Greetings to the new arrivals,For those of you who haven't written in here before, we have a word of the week. It does pretty much what it says on the tin. There is a word. You are challenged to use it in a post (one entry per character). You have one week to do so. At the end of the week, whoever set the word judges the entries and declares a winner. The winner receives SHINY HOUSE POINTS plus the honour and privilege of selecting the next word.
To reflect those new people joining us, this week's word shall be... fledgling.
Once you have used it in a post, please reply to this, including a link to your entry. Old hats can make theirs appear as fancy hyperlinks but just copying and pasting the address of the post is also fine.
