The wedding is taking place in Connecticut. Fae's branch of the Sinclairs are in America (her grandfather being the first). But the Sinclairs main branch is in Scotland. They have smaller branches in France and Russia. The Sinclairs are in the banking/financial business and are an extremely old/wealthy PB family, so they are likely to know them.Fae's Mother's family is from England (Hudson) and are a well known PB family, so the Princetons probably have interacted with them on some level.
The Thomas' author will be able to answer about their family.

The Thomas family is a small but powerful and wealthy family in England. They are mostly politicians. So, I am sure they know each other.
