Introducing... ME! (TAG- new incoming firsties!) by Aubrielle Thornton

Hi everyone!!! I’m soooo glad to meet you! I’m Aubrielle Reece Thornton, but mostly people call me Brielle. I like to be called Bri or Brielle mostly, but my sisters call me B sometimes. I’m very kind as a person and love helping others. I’m the fifth Thornton child to come here to Sonora (of 16 now once our new baby is born!) Momma told us that she was pregnant again right before we left for school. I think my parents are crazy to keep having kids, but I’m only eleven, I can’t stop them!

I REALLY hope nobody pins me as “One of those Thornton girls”. I’m really different to my sisters. Only Andri can say I’m like her really. I’m not the oldest like Arista (and I’m surely not a daredevil like she is either). I’m not weepy or mopey like Addison (I’m not even mopey when I’m sad most of the time!). I’m not crazy like Amira either. Andri and I are really close and I’m glad to be coming to school with her this year. At the same time I feel like I should be home too to a point. I know that Aislynn, Audi and Ashling need lots of tender loving care and when I was home last year I was the oldest and kind of stepped up. So it feels weird to be leaving them. I know they’ll be okay though so on with the year!

I LOVE theatre, drama, the arts of all types and music above all else (other than my family) and I’m looking forward to coming to Sonora for my time to shine! My name will be in lights one day and you’ll all be able to say you knew me when! Aren’t you excited?!

Well, I am Carrie O'Malley and I am perfection personified. I am smart and beautiful and everything you wish you were. I wouldn't pin you as one of those Thornton girls. After all, what's a Thornton girl? I've never heard of that particular family. Wait, I think those were those nobodies who mistakenly got into Uncle Seth's wedding last year. Ew.

Anyway, I have one older brother Ryan, unfortunately. He's like the lowest form of life possible. After him, my mother thought she could do better-because she certainly could not have done worse-and she got me . Anyone who knows him-he's going to be a fifth year-can see what a major improvement that is. I mean, just look at me.

Author-*cuts her off* I can't take any more of her at the moment. I apologize to Crotalus as a whole (as well as Aubrielle who has the honor of being the very first person aside from Ryan that Carrie has offended) especially Carrie's roommates and weep for the fate of the house.

Arabella-Seriously, contrary to what Carrie claims, her only good qualities are good personal hygiene and making others look good in comparison. Even serial killers and totalitarian dictators can come across pleasant compared to my cousin. It's like my author woke up one day and decided to make the most horrible character she could and succeeded beautifully at it. If anyone out there thought Tawny or Chelsea was bad, you haven't seen anything yet. There aren't words to describe Carrie. Well, there are but I'm supposed to be a lady and they aren't site appropriate.

The moment Carrie's letter came,Ryan went into hiding and won't come out and every Crotalus my author has ever had is ashamed to be one now. And they weren't even ashamed to be in the same house as Gwen Carey or Raines Bradley.

Author-Also I would like to offer a blanket disclaimer that if Carrie torments you its probably not personal and the kind of people she likes to torment the most are people like Ryan who are exactly the people I like best. So if she tortures your character, I probably love said character and feel really horribly guilty about it.

Hello fellow people of Earth - or, at least, I'd hope so otherwise I'm undecided as to whether I'm worried or totally fascinated - my name is Katy Rock.

I'll be joining Aladren house along with my brother-who-isn't-exactly-my-brother, Jake. People think we're twins sometimes because we are the same age, but I like to point out it's a lot more complicated than that. We're not even related, but my mum was, like, married to his dad for most of our lives. He's ok, my brother, but he's a bit quiet sometimes. He likes books and music more than other people. You know, he's that kind of person.

Me? I'm a people person. I love other people almost as much as I love awkward silence.

So, I'm really looking forward to school and meeting you all...

My name is Aria Yale. I am from a small Earthbound colony in New Mexico where I live with the other members, including my Mother and Father. Coming to Sonora will be strange, but exciting. I can only hope that my Spirit does not become cloudy while here. My parents worry of my duties to nature, but I assure them that this will be good for everyone.

I'm Liam Ammon, I'm from a little town in Oregon, and have two older brothers and two little sisters. My dad recently passed away, so my mom has been raising us on her own. It's been tough, but she scraped together enough to send me to Sonora! I'm pretty excited because I didn't know magic was real until now. I always hoped it was, I mean, how cool would it be to make things move with just a thought? So much better than science camp! Melanie-It's nice to meet everyone I am Melanie Lennox of St. Louis Lennoxes. I will be in Teppenpaw and have one older sister named Valerie who will be a third year Crotalus. Um, she is my best friend-though I'd like to make plenty more-and I do not like when people are mean to her especially about her illness.And I really hate being called Mel. Miss Carey, Miss Thornton, and Miss Yale, I am eager for us all to be friends.

Arabella-Erm...Miss Baird....close relationships with your roommates? I don't know what the rest are like-other that the odds are they're probably pure- but with Carrie, you don't want that trust me. If you're lucky she'll use you as something as a lackey like a Tawny did to Alessa. I'm pretty sure all other Crotali have been pushed into hiding. And no longer consider it much of an honor. Last night the transfers declared their allegiance to their previous house.

Hi there! My name is Marcus Crosby, and I'm going to be in Teppenpaw, which is really cool because the Head of House is my aunt. I have a cousin in Aladren too; her name is Sally. I have a big brother named Martin, but he's in college, so sadly he won't ever get to join us.

I really hope we can all get to be great friends! I love making friends! I'm super excited to come to Sonora and meet all of you fun new people. What are you all excited for the most? I'm pretty eager for everything! Sonora just sounds like so much fun.

Looks at everyone who's already said something, and bows at each of them in turn, very politely. He allows many of them to go first as he was taught in his village to be polite and speak only when spoken to around his elders, but there were not many in his village near his age, so he is unsure how to react.

He looks down at his feet from his height and uses his left hand (which his pinky and ring finger had no feeling in them) to try to smooth down his thick black curls. His eyes, the same coffee colored shade as his skin which only differed in their green specks, watched those around him with an acute desire to know them, but a fear to know what they thought of him. He wondered if those around him now thought as his villagers did of him, or how the outsiders thought. He hoped the people of Sonora would see him as his fellow villagers from Isla Ángel de la Guarda did as special and handsome rather than dopey like those on the outside. He opens his mouth and speaks quietly.

I am Solomon Bensalem, from the Isla Ángel de la Guarda. I am going to be in Crotalus House. I am an only child and we live in our very small village, and uhm, I hope I'm worth something...

Well, whether you're worth something is rather up to me to decide. I've not heard of your family the way of I've heard of the Careys and Mr. Crosby's and Miss Baird's and that's a bad sign. Of course I've heard of Miss Thornton's and she's at least kin to party crashers if not one herself, I can't really tell such unimportant people apart.

Of course, the reason I might not have heard of yours is because you're from some odd island culture but can I assume at least that you're a pureblood? As that will help determine your worth?

Arabella-Yes, and whatever she declares your worth to be, decide the opposite! Just try to keep up a good attitude and thank Merlin-and every deity there is-that you happen to be male so at least you won't be rooming her.

Melanie-It's really nice to meet you Mr. Crosby and I'd like to be friends with you as well as the girls in my room. I do hope you get a roommate too though so you aren't lonely or forced to do girl things all the time.

Carrie-*butts in* No, not everyone is worth something. My brother is worth nothing for example. Miss Thornton and her sisters are likely only useful if you need to get into someplace that you shouldn't be.

Melanie-Your brother is fine gentleman who has been nothing but kind to my sister for the last two years.

Carrie-Oh yes, one walking pile of..human waste helping out a walking pile of cooties...

Melanie's eye's blaze as from out of nowhere....Arabella fires the body bind curse at Carrie and drags her off and stuffs her in a closet.

Listens to Carrie, and backs up to the wall, knowing that he had no idea who any of those people are. Nor did he understand what pureblood was, but decided that he would learn and be all the better for it.

Then listens to Arabella, and smiles to her, liking the older girl. Althewhile wondering if there were more people there at Sonora like Carrie, or like Arabella? Hoping with all his heart that there were more like Arabella!
