Hi everyone! I'm Andrina Reid Thornton. But you can call me Andri, or Andi if you want. Like all of my sisters, I'm red-headed, like a strawberry-blonde as we grow older, though we each had bright red hair when we were born. I'm taller than all my sisters so far were at eleven and slender, like my oldest sister, smaller in weight than the average and quite muscular from all the sports played as a child. Sometimes my sister's call me Andri, but the little ones call me Andi too cause its easier. I can hold my own even better than Arista or Amira can. I'm stronger than most would think I am thanks to my sporty nature. Like my sisters I'm also covered from head to toe in freckles, more even when the summer comes than in the wintertime. I'm very independent, logical, smart and strong willed. I like to solve problems, though sometimes those I'm trying to help don't want me to solve their problem which escalates the whole situation. I also have a love for learning, which I've always had from the time I can remember. Oh... also, before I forget, I'm the fourth child of fifteen so far. But I don't want to say it, but I think Mom's pregnant again. She hasn't said anything to us, but she's kinda growing again and...
Oh no!! I'm just talking too much!! I'm sorry!!! Who's next?

A slender boy, almost painfully so stepped silently into the room behind Andrina, Andri, Andi. Each bare foot fall made no sound, which added to the ethereal appearance of the boy. Such a quiet child would normally go unnoticed after the bright and bubbly Andi, but his ghostly pale features, ash white hair, and downward gaze draws more attention than he cares for. Silence, all the strangers wait for him to speak. Only when it stretched on to the point that the rest begin shifting uncomfortably does he speak. The words are so soft that if the room hadn’t been silent none would have heard the whispered words “Angel Shield.”
Shield. A dark name, familiar from history as a cautionary tale to any Purebloods who grew so arrogant as to believe that no others were pure enough to be added to their lines. The boy’s appearance marks him as a victim of the despicable practice, his albino features, the white skin stretched over an unnaturally slender frame. He doesn’t glance up at some of the hisses Pureblood children who knew of the family that destroyed themselves, a family they all thought extinct long ago give. If he had, his red eyed gaze might cause even the muggleborns to flinch back in fright as children so often did when faced with something different from themselves.
Hi back! I'm Waverly Canterbury. I only have one sister who's eight right now and I'm a muggle-born. I don't know if she is yet or not. But anyway, I'm from Phoenix, Arizona and I have longish brown hair and grass green eyes and I'm kind of tall for my age. Um, what else...I'm more artsy than athletic, I guess, and I have freckles on my face which I personally think are kinda ugly. I'm super excited to be at a magical school though! Eee! Summer is my favorite season, though I guess it's almost like summer here all the time. And that's about it. I can't wait to post stuff with you all!
It's a pleasure to meet you all. I'm Shiloh Romano, youngest and only daughter of the Neapolitan branch of the Romano family. My parents and older brothers have done their best to prepare me for boarding school, but I'm still slightly unsure. After all, supposedly Muggleborns will be attending school with me, and my Nonna said that Muggleborns aren't like other wizards and witches. She said they're abominations.
I had to look up that word, and it sounds pretty scary. But the footman, Mr. Georges, recommended that I try to meet one and see for myself. I still don't know, though. . . I guess I'll have to wait and see.
My name is Cepheus Princeton, pureblood from London, England. I'm a bit on the smaller side for my size, but it's no matter. I've got my brains to make up for it. And I know I'll grow taller because my father is really tall. He thinks we've got some Dutch blood in us. I've got two younger brothers, Orion and Leo. I've got a real thing for Quidditch, though I've never played on a real, professional team yet. I usually play the Seeker because I don't have the brawn other blokes've got to be Beaters. I don't expect much from America, but Father sent me here to be educated so I'll have to bear it. If I make the Quidditch team, I'll be happy. I absolutely loathe the heat, so Arizona is going to be a stretch for me to get used to.
The Princeton name hasn't really broken into the prestigious pureblood circle, though we've definitely made a name for ourselves with the rich societies, but Father's working on making our name even more powerful. It's been a work in progress ever since we received our fortune decades ago. Oh, I suppose I should mention that I've been sorted into Crotalus. Anyhow, that's all I really care to share with acquaintances.

Hello. My name is Thaddeus Pierce II of the New Hampshire Pierces. My parents are Thesius and Katrina Pierce. They had two children, Arnold and Amelia, many years ago, but a terrible family revolution left Arnold playing Quidditch on a ghost team in Canada and Amelia the matriarch of a disowned branch in Boston. So, lacking an heir, they had me.
I was named for a family hero, my great-uncle, Thaddeus Pierce I, and my parents have always expected to live up to his example by being cultured and loyal to the family. Additionally, they want me to do very well in my classes and to get into Aladren. This is a very good thing, because I want to get into Aladren, too. I'm looking forward to living in an environment where wanting to know everything is normal and there might be other people who won't think I'm weird for reading a whole book about gillyweed or something.
(Surprisingly, given that this is the OOC board, so is this post!) I was just wondering whether you chose your character's name because you're a fan of a particular film? You'll know the one I mean if so, but I shouldn't mention titles of 18s on here in case it encourages the kiddies to go watch them...
I'm Evan. Evan Clifford Brockert. Of the Colorado Brockerts, but I live in Oregon. We're supposed to say Colorado though. You can call me Evan.
15 kids and pregnant again? Merlin's socks, I thought my family was big and I'm the youngest of six! I have one older brother Adam and four older sisters, Kaylie, Chelsea, Nina and Hope. Nina is a sixth year Pecari and Hope is a third year Teppenpaw. The others are graduated from Sonora and I have lots of distant cousins here.
I don't play sports, I prefer collecting things. Like bugs. And random objects to be used in different ways. Also, I'm going to be in Aladren.
. . . if you're referencing a certain genetic opera, then maybe it was a subconscious choice because I love that movie. I actually chose it from the city that was supposed to house the Ark of the Covenant.
I'm Jade Owen, and I have a brother and a sister who are already at Sonora. I evidently did something heinous in a past life to deserve this. I'm not smart like they are. Let's just clear that up right now. Do not come to me for homework help. I like animals - especially cats and horses. I like milkshake. My curly hair is not cute. It's just curly. Don't even get me started on my eyebrows. Oh, hi, by the way.
Hi, I'm Arabella Brockert, er of the Colorado Brockerts and unlike Evan, I actually do live in Colorado. Evan is my third cousin, not my twin brother but I do have a younger sister, Serena, and younger brother, Fabian. I also have a first cousin, Ryan, who is going to be a fourth year Crotalus. We're close, but I hate his sister. My uncle is the groundskeeper and apparently, the transfiguration professor is going to be my aunt. I enjoy fencing and would rather like to give dueling a shot. Not fond of anything girly, not fond of writing essays or doing research. I'm strong-willed, I suppose.
