Quidditch Players by Coach Pierce

First of all, the email to the winning seeker will go out this Friday. I do not think I need to tell you to get in your final posts in this time.

Secondly, Renee asked a very good question. How do we know if the ball went through the Crotalus hoops without a Crotalus keeper?

For Aladren players, they would write exactly as they would before. Whoever makes the shot does not decide if it makes it in.

For Crotalus, there are two possibilities:
1) If someone posts before an Aladren tries to score that they are running ahead to protect the goal hoops, that player will act as Keeper for that shot. Please keep in mind that you are probably not trained as a Keeper.

2) If this nobody declares themselves a temporary Keeper, the goals are OPEN. The next Crotalus Chaser to post is the one with the best chance of interception. If they don't successfully intercept, it goes in. Let me repeat that, they have the best chance. They do not have a good chance. Please be realistic. In this game, Nic has had to deal with, if I remember correctly, five of the six shots made at the goal. None of the Chasers had much more faith in him than they did in open air. Also, eight shots have gone through the hoops, even when they were guarded by someone whose only job it is to make sure they don't. Half of those even made it past a competent Keeper. So not having a Keeper is a big deal. Write accordingly.
