Shiny new things! [ALL READ] by Headmistress Powell
Did your character ever wish that Sonora had a squash court? Or clay firing oven? Or bowling alley? Now their dreams could become a reality! Sonora will be introducing a new board - having an extension, so to speak. In character, there will be a new room (or set of rooms) added to the grounds for recreational purposes. Those ideas above are just some of the hundreds of possibilities. We want YOUR ideas. What do we need at Sonora? Put all your thoughts and ideas, dreams and wishes, however crazy they may be, as replies to this post.You may also wish to note that any additional funding IC that your characters' families wish to offer would probably be greatly accepted...

I think there should be a pet park! And a photo booth! =) My mommy and daddy can help with fundings, although they probably won't be able to put a whole lotta money into it.

I am not entirely sure how I was nominated family spokesman, since I won't actually have access to any money for at least six more years, but I digress....The Miss Garcias and Mr. Brishen have lovely ideas. An art room would also be something I'm sure quite a few people would appreciate - paints and easels, maybe something for sculpting, a bit of something for flower arranging in the spring, that sort of thing. Personally, I'd like a debate or small group study room, though a photography lab would also be very nice. Perhaps a general Recreation Area, with smaller rooms or semi-enclosed areas for these things around a lounge or open space, maybe lists of previous heads and student leaders and academic high achievers on the walls. As for the family and money, er... *consults notes*

The Virginia Careys will also make a contribution, though it will come from higher up than my and Jane's parents. My cousin Thomas considers support for educational endeavors and school improvement to be very important...
And, as the South Carolina Careys consider themselves patrons of the arts on the national scale and supporters of education and are considering sending some of theirs here as students in the next few years, they're also willing to contribute to this project specifically.
