First Year Introductions by David Lancaster

Hi fellow first years. Looks like I get to start us off. Er. . .

I'm David Lancaster. My dad's a teacher for the Department of Defense and my mom's an engineer in the Air Force. They're currently stationed out of Aviano AFB in Italy, but that'll probably change in two years. They seem pretty intrigued by the idea of magic existing and that I'm wizard, but I told them not to expect too much.

I'm still just me after all.

But yeah, so 'hi' to all of you- and it looks like I'll be in Teppenpaw, so another 'hi' to my future housemates.

Hey David,
I'm a new Teppenpaw too! I can't wait for term to start. It'll be lovely to get to know everybody.

I'm Insomnia Zannicci, but I prefer to be called Nia. I live with my adoptive parents in London. Mum was pretty freaked when we heard from the Academy!

I hope we can be friends.\r\n\r\n

London, eh? My parents were never stationed in the UK, but we've previously lived in Germany and Belgium, although I was only four for the latter and six for the former. Teppenpaw's supposed to be a friendly house, so here's hoping it all goes well.

Incidentally, if you haven't already, be sure to take a gander over at the Sonora Wiki here. If you haven't joined already, you can join there and start creating a page for Insomnia. You can write about her background, family, and other character information, including uploading a picture of her. You can see David's here.

I am definitely a Muggleborn, or at least that's how the letter defined me, so I'm thinking that means non-magical parents, right? You can bet I'll be counting on my house seniors for help mixing in.

Hi all,
My name is Andrew and I'm looking forward to starting my magical education at Sonora. Dad's a muggle engineer and Mom's a witch who runs the local magic shop. She was ecstatic when I got the acceptance letter from Sonora. I think Dad was happy he insisted on starting getting me a standard muggle education first, I am as well.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all!

I'm also in Pecari. I'm from a mongrel family in California. Two of my cousins are here already (though one is the groundskeeper, so I'm not sure he counts) and, thankfully, neither one of them is the Head Boy. It was a near thing, though.
