I'm making an offer of Asylum for those who have characters they would prefer to keep going. The current site rules - no more than two characters per year unless there are extreme circumstances and you can convince me to let it slip - still stand.There was an effort to revitalise Salem but as nothing has been posted about it since August, I think it's pretty safe to say that it has petered out. I know there are people here who were highly attached to their characters and might be looking for a way to keep them going. So, if you've got a character in fourth year or below and want to continue to RP them, albeit in a higher grade (so as to avoid messes due to interconnectivity between Salem and Sonora) please drop me an email at the site address or - better yet - fill in an application so I can sort them properly for Sonora.
Fourth years will progress straight to seventh year, thirds to sixth, seconds to fifth and firsts to fourth. I can understand why this might be difficult, but it's the best solution I can come up with. Unless anyone thinks their student might have managed to be held back a year due to bad grades or another story that might work. If so, please feel free to mention it - here or in the email or application.
