Croatia? by Irene Liddowe

Anyone else see 'Crotalus' instead of 'Croatia' whenever the sports stats are rolling across the bottom of your TV? Gets me every time...

Almost.... by Earl

I met a girl named Nicolette and I keep calling her Nicolleta and she gives me funny looks.

Also, they filmed a scene of My Name is Earl near my house a couple days ago and there were signs everywhere that said "EARL". I got excited every time I saw one and not because I'm a fan of the show.

A little different... by Gwen

I found out that 'Crotalus' is part of the technical Latin name for rattlesnakes when I gave my father a little book on snakes for his birthday and saw it while he was trying to show me something else. I was very amused, but the family members who don't know about Sonora gave me funny looks. It was my random fact to tell people for a while.

A bit more recently, I got a shock on the DADA board. I was catching up on post-reading, and I saw Seamus' post about defeating wizards more evil than Morgaine. It took me a minute to realize he was talking about the mythical one instead of the Pecari one, a minute I spent trying to figure out if there was a thread involving firstie torture that I'd forgotten writing.
