Sadly, I couldn't go out... I had a History project and a write-up for my medical careers class that I had to do for the next day (today). By the time I was done we had 5 minutes left until this new curfew (=P) kicked in. But my brother and sister got plenty! I'm eating their Kit-Kat bars right now xD

I have a feeling that Hallowe'en is far more of a deal for you guys than it is here - nonetheless we decorated our gate with glowsticks and watched Phantom of the Opera and ordered pizza.

An all day event by Echo Elms

The kids weren't allowed to dress up at school, but they were intractable anyway due to the holiday. I was exhausted by the the time I got home from trying (unsuccessfully) to keep them on task all day and worrying about my thigh highs (I swear, they fell down to my knees every 5 minutes and then you can't pull 'em up when you have 13 adolescent boys in the room!).

When it was all over I came home and changed into my Hufflepuff uniform and waited with a bowl of candy for trick or treaters who never came. I did, however, get to debate with a friend of mine over the proper pronunciation of "Halloween" (the dictionary supported both of us, so it was a draw) and watch "Pushing Daisies" which, incidentally, is a fabulous show.

Students couldn't dress up at my school either, but a lot of my friends did anyway so I made sure to take pictures of those who chose to "fight the power." Two girls did get suspended and one of my friends nearly did. Totally ridiculous, but then again that's a perfect way to describe my school.

Once I got home it was pretty quiet since there aren't a lot of trick-or-treaters in my part of town. I spent the evening doing math homework and thinking of ideas for my annual Christmas merrymaking.

I went to three different parties, finally ending up at my friend's house, where she somehow procured a strobe light and a bunch of techno music. Strange? yes. But definitely fun.

Little Shop of Horrors!!!! *cheers and sings the song* Feed me Seymore...anyway, halloween is awful here! There were three houses on in the neighborhood. And yes, I went trick or treating, bad me, I know. Anyways...we didn't get anyone at the house so we have the candy to ourselves.
