Team Explanation by The Craven Twins
Ok guys, it's here and, like the try-outs, I've had to do it differently... I've felt so harsh from about the first activity that I was actually putting you through that when some of you weren't going to get a place on the team, so I'm genuinely sorry, and really amazed by how much you put in - you seem to want these spots as badly as authors as your characters do. Obviously Stephen and Lizzie, as characters, wouldn't have been absent from the tryouts, even though their authors (pretty much) have been, and the twins would be most likely to pick them first. If they don't, their IC lives are going to get really screwed up, and I can't let that happen due to a decision that they wouldn't take IC. However, it wouldn't be fair to you guys who all sweated it out if that was the be all and end all. So here's the deal... There's an IC team and an OOC team. The IC team is who the Cravens would choose, with their biases and priorities (and is being written up on the Pecari page at the moment), and the OOC team is who I would. I haven't had a chance to talk it through with the affected authors yet, but I'll find IC reasons to let the OOC team play for most of the matches, like illness or arguments.So, the OOC team is:
Keeper: Stephen
Chasers: Saul, Meredith, Irene
Beaters: Us
Seeker: Elly
Reserves: Caedence, Lizzie
This is the line up that I want to play in our first match. I'm going to try to rotate it so that you get a match too, Caedence (or, given how the games go, I might not need to!), cos it was close, and you all bloody deserve it.
