I used the WotW, but I'm not sure if I did it right. If the sentence that has the word in it makes no sense, pay the hopeless-at-English author no mind. You should hear her talk, English teachers would cry.

*points at the comma splice and weeps*

Actually, English teachers get pretty emotionally desensitized from reading all the unproofed papers kids turn in. You'd be surprised.

Headmaster Bulla

...you haven't had to read Tarquin's appraisal. Yeah, you used a word related to the WotW rather than the word itself, so it's pretty much out of the running but we can all consider this a learning experience. Like I have after talking to Tarquin. I think he may have more to say on the subject soon. Be warned ;) (but not worried too much - his author is a smart cookie and knows her english language... er... stuff. And will certainly have good tips for making this competition work even better in the future).\r\n\r\n

Tarquin

No, no, worry not - I shall remain mute on the subject. Headmaster Bulla has explained it nice and succinctly, and I don't have anything to add except a technical explanation, which isn't needed, and which is what poor Bulla was subjected to when he asked the innocent question of "What do you think of this example?" It was a good use of the related word though, sorry I had to go grammatical on you.

>< Sorry about that. Well, perhaps there's next time. At least my sentence wasn't completely out of sense. That would be bad for me. Heh.

I probably would. I might have to ask my English teacher grandmother. I've probably made many an english teacher cry with my unproofed papers. I cannot fit a sentence together, and often make up or use words wrong.

I'm surprised I made it to honors classes O.O
