New Year! by Headmaster Bulla
They are indeed, Niobe.New year is up and running - just remember that we're working over several timezones here, so getting it so that the term starts at midnight anyone's time wasn't a likely thing (particularly on a weekday). Especially as I'm in a timezone that's pretty far ahead of the majority here. Some of us have to work for a living ;) Merlin knows I'm not making any money out of this.
Join the feast, Heads of Houses should be posting the way to commons in the next couple of days and classes will start appearing in about a week.

This means we're free, we the first years that is, are welcome to post in all the areas open to us? As long as it's above the no first years below line? I just want to make sure I'm not jumping in to fast. I tend to be a bit, overly anxious.

... actually spotted your post before this. Don't worry, you've worded it and set it so you're actually fairly safe - i.e. after you'd been shown the way. The no posting there rule is mostly to stop first years from skipping the feast (and the sorting, oddly enough) to miraculously find their way to their hidden common rooms early.

Odd first years would want to miss the feast! Rilla herself was very pleased to be there, as she was very hungry.Thankfully I'd read the Cascade Hall post, along with wandering around here a bit. I've also rped other places, so I realised it would be quite odd for a first year to find their way somewhere they'd never been.
Well, sorry for all the confusion.
