So it just hit me that it's a quarter past 11pm, and in just a little bit of time, the new term starts! I am so stoked!

I do RP's in real life all the time, but this will be my first real go at an online service. I am so looking forward to this, and everyone here seems so talented and great!

So, my question is: right now, just what are you doing to pass away your Wednesday night?

My answer: watching Bravo and Tim Gunn's Guide to Style. He's so fabulously fashion-like. I wish I could get a Guide to Style. My style can only be described as comfort casual. (IE: jeans, worn out t-shirts, and anything cotton.)

I spent the time in class, learning about Psychology and the Law and Spanish. Or rather learning that I'm going to be forced to write more essays and stuff and get a mediocre grade in yet another class.

Spanish went a bit better.

Author: I've worked two jobs today just to try to hold my own (if you can even say that). I just got back, and now it's after midnight my time (and I've been working since 7am). I too, am stoked about the new term!

Cam: I look forward to having my cousin and sister come!

Author: I'm hoping that a new term may help me put myself back into perspective again and help me try to realize that I'm not what my father says that I am (even though after today, I'm inclined to believe him...) Anyway, now I'm rambling, so I'm gonna run... Can't wait!!!

Oh my god, but that was downright creepy. I mean, freak-out creepy.

I'm inclined to agree. Essays are not good for me, the author. Nor are they good for Kaylie. Adam can handle them okay, but is convinced he will get a bad grade because he's him. Lily can do them, but does not like them. Chelsea...could probably do them since she thinks she's so smart.

(Chelsea-I am! I'm an Aladren. I am a genius and smarter than all my siblings.)

(Author-*sincerely hopes Nina, Hope and Evan are sorted into Aladren as well*)

However, she will probably whine and complain about them.

And I think the idea of essays being good for you is creepy.

Laurie, you don't have to take her class, its an elective.

You say that now... I remember a time when I thought Essays were a torture sent from hell, but then over time I started to really appreciate and like writing them. I haven't had cause to write one in a while now... and I miss them :(

I'd be happy if you wrote mine, except for the whole academic honesty thing. I should do them myself. (OOC I mean...weird feelings about what this character might do. Except I already did that with a character at Salem getting someone to write his essay)

But just because I do them doesn't mean I have to like them.

The marriage and family ones don't sound as bad as initially expected but I don't care for essays as they've taken me from an A (on multiple choice exams) to a C. Normally, I can handle the C, but I need better grades this semester.

Essays are very thought provoking things to write. Aside from being a lot of work and taking a lot of time, I rather like them.

I rather like grading them too... as long as I don't have 125 to do all at once. *shudders*

Yeah, you just said why I don't like them...being a lot of work and taking time. Taking time I could use to...post or sleep. Eat. Um, reflect on T.V. shows and what they mean to me. House and Doctor Who are both very thought-provoking. Come to think of it, so are the Simpsons and South Park. Really, there are philosophy books about the Simpsons and South Park... and Harry Potter. I want them.

I searched in vain for "Doctor Who and Philosophy". Apparently there is no such thing. Is there one available in Britain where Doctor Who is more of a cultural icon?
