A Plan by Arixios Jackel

Arixios wasn't really one to stir up trouble but something had to be done. This school was absolutely despicable!

Nobody was doing anything interesting!

Except of course, if you counted wandering around in a perfect little world, talking to perfect little friends, where nothing ever went wrong and you had to spend time occupying yourself by arguing about whether you meant the cultural south or the geographical one.

Arixios was going to do something.

Taking flight by Chrissy and Tally

Chrissy and Tally walked across the grounds to the Quidditch pitch, chatting merrily to each other. Along the way they saw a boy who seemed lost in his own world.

"Who's that?" Tally asked. Her green eyes looked curiosly in his direction. She hadn't seen him before.

"That's the boy with the manners I was telling you about." Chrissy said in an amused tone. Both girls had swpet their hair high up on their heads as they carried their brooms down to the pitch to do their favorite past-time. flying.

Chrissy had been extremely grateful that Tally's brother, Josh, had taught them to fly a few years ago, it was another thing she could discuss with her father.

"He looks, I don't know, frustrated or something." Tally commented, her eyes still focused on Arixios. Chrissy chuckled.

"Who knows, Arixios is a pureblood. Some muggleborn probably touched him and now he's tainted." Chrissy spoke with amusement, but her smile didn't reach her blue-eyes. Truth be told, she didn't now him at all, didn't really even recognize him from any of the parties. She had no way of knowing what he would be like in the future. "Come on, let's fly." Tally tore her eyes away from him and laughed.

"Alright, alright, Miss. Imptient." They took off to the middle of the pitch and jumped onto their brooms, soaring quickly into the air and leaving all thoughts behind.\n\n

Fates... by Arixios Jackel

Arixios sized up the two girls walking down towards the pitch, he recognized one of them - Chrissy. He'd met her this morning. He definetly didn't know the other one though.

The corner of his mouth quirked up slightly. Ironic that one of the only people who'd actually been what he considered nice had showed up right when he'd decided to do some mischeif.

It's not like the majority of the idiots at the school didn't deserve it anyway - they were all hippocrites! They went around preaching at T.J. about how he shouldn't judge people and how all purebloods thought mudbloods were contamination, etc.

Guess none of them realized that they were the one's judging, he'd overheard part of the renoned Ms. Porter's speech as he and O'Riley left Cascade Hall and without even getting to know the Boyd girl she'd already started preaching to her about, "If you're friends with them, don't expect to be seeing me around much..."

Maybe it was just him, but Arixios thought the whole point about being a spineless molly-coddler was that you were supposed to try and be friends with everyone, despite surrounding conditions.

Since Arixios didn't have much experience in that department he was willing to admit he'd probably been wrong in assuming anything.

Turning back to the field he refocused his thoughts and surreptisiously pointed his wand at the goal hoops at the far end of the pitch.

He hoped Chrissy didn't choose those hoops to shoot at if they decided to play a mini-quidditch match. Whoever did would get... a little surprise...\n\n

Want to fly? by Tally and Chrissy

Tally flew fast and easily around the pitch, but her green eyes still lay on the boy below. He intrigued her. Why was he here if he wasn't going to fly? Why had he seemed so frustrated?

"TALLY LOOK OUT!" Chrissy's shout broke through Tally's thoughts and she looked up to see one of the hoop posts directly in her line of flying.

"AAHH!" Tally let out a startled cry and she threw her weight to the left, barely missing the post, and flew to the center of the pitch and stopped.

"Pay attention to what you're doing, would you?" Chrissy demanded as she flew up beside her. "Where were you anyway?" Tally shrugged and her eyes made their way back to the ground where the boy stood. Chrissy's eyes followed. "Arixios, you were watching him?"

"I was just thinking that's all." Tally said as a small smile crossed her face.

"Of him, you were thinking of him?" Tally looked up at her friend and caught the goofy smile that was on her face.

"What?" Tally asked, unsure she wanted to hear whatever it was Chrissy had to say.

"YOu like him, don't you?" Tally's jaw dropped open in shock and she stuttered,

"I DO NOT! I don't even know him!" She cried out in mocked anger. Chrissy just laughed.

"Come on, I'll introduce you." Chrissy flew down to the pitch with a reluctant Tally flewing behind her. Chrissy landed a few feet in front of Arixios and walked briskly up to him while Tally walked one step behing her. "Hello Arixios, remember me?" Chrissy smiled, but didn't wait for a reply, "This is my best friend Tally, she's in the Teppenpaw house." Chrissy gestured to her friend, "I thought it best to introduce the two of you considering Tally couldn't keep her eyes off of you while we were flying." Tally made an angry noise from beside her and cut her off,

"Er-it's not like that! I was only...I just..I..." Tally trailed off and took a deep breath. "I just thought you were interesting that's all." Chrissy snorted beside her and Tally blushed deeply, her eyes lowered to her broom.\n\n

Re: Want to fly? by Arixios Jackel

Arixios smirked as he saw Chrissy marching up to him. This should be an interesting meeting. He noticed that her friend was hanging a little behind.

He didn't have a chance to get in a greeting as Chrissy immediately launched into her own salutations.

Quirking an eyebrow at Chrissy he asked her matter-of-factly, "Is it possible to forget you?"

Not waiting for her answer he moved toward her friend - Tally - and bowed slightly. Deciding to go all the way he reached for her hand and ghosted a light kiss on the back,
"A pleasure to meet you Tally. My name is Arixios.

And, do not worry." He assured her,"I have received a lot worse than interesting in my lifetime."\n\n

such as? by Tally and Chrissy

Tally's blush deepened as he kissed her hand lightly. All the while, Chrissy was having silent giggle-fits into the back of her hand.

"Er-it's nice to meet you too, Arixios." She paused, looking down at their hands before returning her gaze back at him, "You've been called worse?" She frowned for a moment. He was interesting, though mysterious. She wasn't all that fond of mysterious, she always felt as though they were lying to her. Chrissy cleared her throat and Tally released her hand from Arixios's as if she had just been scolded by it.

"Actually," Chrissy butted-in, "I am easily forgotten, not that it matters much. Say, do you have a nickname that we can call you by instead of Arixios?" She glanced back to Tally, who looked lost and embarrassed. "Tals and I were just flying. Which, of course, you know. We were wondering if maybe you cared to join us, or would you rather continue to be in your own little world and left alone?" Chrissy asked with a smile.\n\n

nice of you to ask by Arixios Jackel

Arixios chose to tactfully ignore Tally's blushes and Chrissy's giggles. That could afford to stew a little longer.

With a light swish and flick he summoned his broom from the broom shed and, putting his wand away and grasping his broom securely he gestured for the girls to preceed him on their way to the pitch.

Adressing Chrissy's question he relaxed his face into a blank mask and, with only a slight curling of the lips and twitch of the eyebrows told her, "I guess you could call me Jackel if you really wanted to but I much prefer Arixios. You too Tally."

Alright, let's fly by Tally

Tally didn't know why she was blushing. She hardly ever blushed. She watched as Arixios summoned his broom and spoke in a well-mannered tone to them.

She also noticed the blank look when he spoke. Everything clicked into place for her. She understood why he was so intriguing to her. She couldn't read his emotions, he masked them so well.

She frowned slightly. She never used her talents against someone, but she could always tell what someone was feeling whether she wanted to or not. A gift her father called it, a curse she considers it. A Feeler or Empath is what people call her and those like her.

She looked up and made complete eye contact with Arixios for the first time. He could as mysterious as he wanted to be, but he will not get her to blush, stuttered, stumble, or anything else that was embarrassing and far to girly for her to ever wish to be.

She smiled at him and her green eyes lit up,

"Alright, Arixios it is. Come on, let's fly!" She grabbed his hand, whether he wanted it or not, turned and took off to the middle of the pitch pulling Arixios along with her. Along the way, she released him with a laugh and jumped on her broom, quickly soaring high into the air.\n\n

There was only a breif pause before Tally, his new aquaintence started dragging him out onto the Quidditch Pitch.

He rolled his eyes at himself, wasn't he always complaining about people who were all talk and no action? About the multitude of hypocrites and idiots crawling the Earth?

He had yet to see if she was an idiot but she was certainly no hypocrite - she wanted to fly, she made sure they went flying.

Arixios tried curling the corners of his lips up into a smile experimentally.

Giving it up as a lost cause, he satisfied himself with a smirk.

Watching with raised eyebrows as she headed straight for the goal posts he'd just finished charming Arixios considered telling her that she may want to head in the other direction.

Considered it, and decided against it.

After all, the charm wouldn't be activated for a while yet and they'd have time to get off of the pitch before anything happened... to them.\n\n

So...what now? by Tally

Tally and Arixios had been flying for awhile now. She had no idea where Chrissy had gone off to until she spotted her at the other side of the pitch talking to someone. She couldn't see the other person's face, but she could definitely tell that it was a girl.

Tally fly around, diving, soaring, diving again. She did random tricks her brother taught her before she had left for school. On one of the tricks she made her broom go completely verical to the ground then leaned back slightly causing her to free fall backwards with her broom.

One who didn't know the rules for flying or had never flown, would have thought her to have lost complete control, but she easily tumbled into a roll and ended back into a normal flying postition.

That was her favorite trick.

Her hair had fallen out of it's bun and now laid softly against her back. Long and brown, matching perfectly with her olive skin and deep green eyes. She brushed it away and flew to Arixios with a smile.

"So, let's chat while we fly, okay?" She didn't wait for him to answer before she continued, "Making any friends here or enemies for that matter?"\n\n

flying... and talking? by Arixios Jackel

Glancing at the girl...siting.... next to him Arixios couldn't help but let a small chuckle escape him.

Honestly, who would have thought - he was flying on a broom next to a young lady - also flying on a broom, and they were talking like they were drinking tea!

Arixios really hadn't meant to scare the girl with his seemingly random outburst of merriment and in truth couldn't really be sure if he had at the speed they were going.

Motioning to the ground Arixios let out a small sigh as his feet touched the earth.

Flying was wonderful but Arixios had to admit - there was something to be said for the ground as well.

Arixios laid his broom to the side and casually reclined on the fresh-cut grass of the Quidditch Pitch.

Smiling apologetically at Tally he felt he owed her at least a semblance of explanation as for why they suddenly found themselves grounded.

"It didn't quite feel...right.. having a conversation at those heights - if you'll forgive me?"\n\n

Not a problem by Tally

OOC: Ignore that other post, I pressed enter by mistake.

BIC:

Tally had followed Arixios to the ground with a perplexed look upon her face. His sudden change in mind confused her, but she didn't ask him for an explanation.

After he had sat down on the ground, Tally followed suit and laughed lightly when he explained his reasons. She had never met someone with such manners that she needed a moment to react to them. With a nod with her head and a bright smile on her face, Tally replied,

"Not a problem. It does get a bit awkward after awhile." She leaned back onto her elbows and raised her head to the sky. The weather here was far hotter than it was back home, much hotter than most of her summers ever came to be. Luckily she had remembered to pack shorts and skirts. Today she wore a pair of khaki shorts and a greed baby-tee that matched her eyes. Even in this attire, one that would have been comfortable, if not a little chilly in back at home, Tally still felt herself strained beneath the relentless sun.

Turning back to Arixios,

"This sun is unbearable, don't you think?"\n\n
