ANNOUNCEMENT by Headmistress Kijewski-Jareau

The very first challenge was right around the corner and Kiva felt it best to at least give the students a little bit of warning. At least, this way, if some of the groups hadn’t met up just yet to get to know each other or figure out who was even on their team, this would give them a few days to prepare what they could. She did not have full disclosure as to what the challenge would be since she wanted the staff to have fun with whatever it was that they decided on, so she couldn’t really say much in her notice to the student body, but it was enough for them to know to expect something to happen. Kiva honestly hoped the students worked well together and knew that this was about fun more so than it was about competition. However, knowing how they were while playing or even watching Quidditch, Kiva didn’t think they really understood that this was about teamwork and not about winning. Winning was just a bonus to it.

The notice popped up on the board outside of Cascade Hall, but it also appeared in each of the Houses to be sure that the students did not miss it.
