This way my young Teppenpaws!! by Professor Rowan Dakin
Rowan Dakin had just gotten used to the title of Professor and now the title of Deputy Headmistress had been added. Was it odd that the she felt a bit overwhelmed? The Ex-Dragon Keeper had tamed dragons, why was she so nervous about students? She had dressed in her brown robes and made her way down to the feast. After handing out the sorting potions she took her spot at the Staff table. The feast seemed to flash before her eyes and now she was off to see the first years to the Teppenpaw Commons. She smoothed out her robes and placed the Sonorus charm over her voice.“Teppenpaws! First year Teppenpaws over here!” She cried and chuckled to herself when they sprang to their feet. Once it seemed like everyone was around her she smiled and led them out into the Hallways where it was less noisy as she un-charmed her voice. “Welcome to Sonora! And most importantly welcome to Teppenpaw!” She grinned at the young children trying to put them at ease.
“I am Rowan Dakin, I am the Head of House, you’re Care of Magical Creatures Professor, and the Deputy Headmistress of Sonora. I know you will probably be nervous to speak to me but my door is always or you could always go to the Teppenpaw Perfects Josiah Ashwood and Lucie Dupree.” She said as she pointed out the two perfects. “Alright ladies and gents stay close and pay attention to where we are going!” With that she turned on her heel and began to head towards the west bell tower.
