[Before Midterm] Josiah, can I interview you for Aronos? by Echo Elms

Where had this term gone? Classes had insane amounts of work, soccer had taken off with all the research that entailed, and cheering on the Pecari team and Echo's new duties to the school paper seemed to take over what little time was left over. Right now, Echo was supposed to be eating breakfast, but on his way to his normal seat, he noticed Josiah and his to-do list popped into his head with a frantic, Oh, yeah! I need to interview him!

This had happened about three times in the past month. This time he actually had a little extra time and Josiah didn't seem too busy. Echo veered off his intended course and sat down across from his victim.

"Hey, Josiah. I've been meaning to ask you a few questions for the school paper about Charms Club. You got a minute?" He grinned and pulled out a half-sized notebook and an old fashioned yellow number 2 pencil.

Why of course, after all, I am wonderful by Josiah

Josiah was beginning to worry. Midterms were almost here, and he hadn’t yet gotten to setting up charms club. Even after all the work he had put into it. He finally had three rather useful charms to work with, however, thanks to Elly. He hadn’t done much else besides research charms and recruit for the club. What little else he did do, often revolved around food.

He had found himself growing a lot this year. He had already outgrown his robes, and had yet to tell his parents. They could just go shopping over break. He didn’t need to bug them this close to Christmas.

Like any growing boy, he required plenty of nourishment. He was just making himself a giant sandwich when another boy sat down across from him. It was Echo. While Josiah didn’t ever really hang out with the kid, several times when he was around Elly, he talked with Echo. Also, if memory served him correctly, they had had several lessons together as well.

“Well, sure,” he replied to Echo’s question, “What would you wanna know? I’ll tell you right now that Elly is a huge part in helping out this club, though.” Smiling at Echo, he added, “Ham sandwich?” He held out the plate of sandwiches for Echo\n
