Lesson 1 for Sixth and Seventh Years by Professor K.
Kiva stood in the Cascade Hall waiting for her Sixth and Seventh years to arrive. They were doing their lesson completely different from their normal routine and Kiva hoped that they wouldn't be completely turned off by it. But, since they were older now, it meant that it was time to learn about the more dangerous creatures and Kiva couldn't very well expose them to these creatures for real. So, she had opted to use the Mirage Chamber. It hadn't been used for quite some time and Kiva felt that this would be better than using the Pensieve of her memories for the students to grasp just how dangerous these animals were. Besides, this way, they couldn't get hurt."Good afternoon class." Kiva greeted them as they made their way over to her standing near the entrance to the chamber. "Since you are all older and some of you are going to be graduating this year, I trust you all well enough to handle and experience some of the most dangerous of animals." Kiva announced to them. "Of course, I can't exactly expose you to those animals because of their hostile behaviors, so we will be using the Mirage Chamber to help assist in your learning." Kiva paused for a moment to take in their reactions before continuing.
"Before we head in, I wanted to talk to you all about the retreat. I know you've all been on it last year as the experimental group, so this year I am giving you all the option of going with this years Fifth years." Kiva ventured, her eyebrows raising in hopeful expectation. "You'll have the ability to actually help out in instructing the fifth years instead of actually working yourselves. Of course, that doesn't mean that you get to boss them around." Kiva hastily added, glancing at Stephen as she amended her words. "I'm going to need help when we go to the retreat and since you've all already experienced it, you'd be my first pick. Of course, you don't have to decide now. Just let me know at some point prior to us leaving for the ranch." Kiva smiled at them and then gave a happy sigh as she turned to the chamber.
"Alright, let's head in for the lesson." Kiva instructed, indicating for them to go in before her.
