But even his deep dissatisfaction with the result did nothing to change the portrait of the old Arithmancy Professor's stately appearance, for Tavarius was a gentleman. His proper robes, white dress shirt and black bow tie proved his respectability. His brown hair was cut short unlike some of the disastrous cuts afforded by most he saw day to day as he hung on the wall opposite the entrance to the Cascade Hall, and it was slicked back so neatly that not a hair was out of place. Even his moustache was in perfect order, each end twisted to pointy perfection causing him to look rather like a evil villain from an old film.
But he muttered to himself. When would things return to the way they should? Why should the impractical, bumbling fools of Pecari - who valued pranks, yes pranks of all thing over learning - continue to do so well in the House Points competition? It wasn't right, he huffed to himself, as he looked down at the points again. Not right at all.\n\n
