Midterm and Christmas by The Christmas Sprites
The last day of classes over, a hush seemed to descend over the school as some went home, others slept in or tore around the gardens and the Quidditch Pitch rather than be stuck inside all the time. Of course, with the generous covering of snow provided on the first day of the break by the school's cleverly constructed weather charms, those heading outsided needed to wrap up nice and toasty warm.The Prairie Elves spent as much time decorating the school with festive colours and decorations as they did at their usual chores in the kitchens, cleaning inside the school building and - when the groundskeeper wasn't looking - the grounds.
Just outside the exits to the grounds, and on the quidditch pitch there was even a few small surprises for those who were staying...\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
