Breakfast and worries by Kaylie Brockert
Kaylie sat down at one of the tables in the Cascade Hall and took a plate of French toast. She looked around for her brother, but didn't see him any where. Perhaps he was too afraid to venture down to the Hall. She was quite worried about him. Poor Adam was so down and depressed ever since the sorting. He'd looked so scared when he'd followed Professor Dionne out of the hall the other night. Kaylie had to admit, the Crotalus Head of House could be kind of intimidating. She hadn't seemed very happy with Kaylie or Lily last year when they'd been passing notes. Lily hadn't seemed too happy either.She really hoped Adam would be okay. Kaylie knew her brother to be fragile and have a hard time adapting to things...and Crotali weren't known for their friendliness. (Last year's were known for the exact opposite).
Kaylie took a bite of her meal. It was so tasty. She had begun to concentrate on her food when she heard someone sit down across from her. Expecting Adam, she looked up to face someone who was definitely not him.\n\n

Breakfast and new faces by Devian Dupree
Devian entered the hall, his eyes gleaming with dastardly deeds. Who would be the one so lucky to come across him? Shining eyes that scanned the room til he found what he was looking for. A student alone, a blonde-haired girl, to be more exact. He sautered over to her. His full lips formed a smirk on his pretty boy face when she failed to notice him. How charming. He made himself comfortable across from her, his hands folded in a perfect school manner, but his face still held the attitude, while he waited for her to notice.When she did, he introduced himself, "This seat was empty, hope you don't mind that I took it. I'm Devian by the way."\n\n

Don't feel like thinking of a title right now... by Kaylie
"Oh, hello there." Kaylie replied with a big smile. She looked him over. He appeared to be one of the first years. Maybe he'd make a nice friend for Adam. Her brother could use friends but he was so shy. Kaylie knew he'd have a hard time making them on his own. She never did understand why he was so unsure of himself. He was such a nice wonderful young boy, Kaylie was sure people would like him if they just got to know him better."I'm Kaylie. Of course you can sit there." She replied "So, how are you liking Sonora so far?" \n\n
