"Okay, okay okay!" Bella rang out, calling to order the small group of Aladrens she had in front of her. "Everyone pay attention, we need to get started." Once she knew that they were paying attention to her, she picked up the small booklets and passed them out to those she knew wouldn't mind being on stage. "Here you go, Daniel. Taylor, one for you. Anne." Bella handed one of the small booklets too. The extras she placed on the table and keeping one for herself before addressing everyone once again.
"So, this is our play. We all have the wonder Grayson Wright to thank for these little things because without him, we'd all be screwed." Bella grinned appreciately to the young third year. "Now, Anne will be playing Nadine, that we've already decided." That was one of the positives for having Anne as a roommate and the cousin of a playwright, they got to review it together and Anne got first choice. "Daniel and Taylor, you two should have first choice for the other parts since acting is what you two are good at. Chris and myself, or whoever decides to come and join us, will take the remaining parts. Does that sound okay?" Bella asked, hoping no one minded too terribly. "I'll let you all read over the parts and when you're ready, we'll start practicing. Chris, did you want to add anything?"
Receiving a shake of his head, Bella shrugged and told everyone to have fun reading it over. She would give them ten minutes to try to decide what parts they wanted to play and how they best thought to handle it all. Quite frankly, Bella was out of her element and completely stressed out about it all. She had so much on her plate and making sure they did well with both the solo and group act just made her seventh year all the more stressful. Honestly, if she weren’t so busy with everything, she’d probably suffer a breakdown.
While everyone else was busy looking over the scripts, Bella gestured to Chris to help her move some of the common room furniture around so that they had a nice area for them to begin practicing in. She would have to consult with Geoff to see if he was up for working out some music, but that could be done a little later. After she and Chris moved the heavy furniture away with their wands and forcing students not participating out of the area, Bella called everyone back to her.
“Okay, Daniel and Taylor, which characters do the two of you feel most comfortable with um…playing?” Bella wasn’t really sure if there was a specific word when one took on a role, but she felt ‘playing’ was adequate enough for the time being.
OOC: We do have scripts, but don’t wish to publish them here for all to read. The script was created by Anne Wright’s author, so all credit goes to her. Anne, if I’m wrong about Gray being the IC character who wrote it, let me know and I’ll edit it. Everyone else, if you’d like to have a copy of the script, please email me at the address above and I’ll forward you a copy. \r\n\r\n

As Danny read through the script, he began snickering quietly to himself. Some of the scenes were all too familiar and he wasn't sure there was going to be all that much acting required. "I'll be Gilbert," he volunteered, as he finished his first quick read-through. There were only two guys in it, and Gilbert had more lines.
Not to mention, bad-acting was fun. Kenneth's character just got to play dead. Now, if Ken had an overblown death scene, it might have been different, but he didn't, so Gilbert was the character of choice for Daniel. Plus, he thought Gil's 'real' scenes had a wider range of things to do, which made that role a bit more challenging than Kenneth's.
All in all, he figured Gilbert was more of a main character than Kenneth, though all five of the characters had more evenly distributed roles than he'd been expecting. Only Anne's Nadine was notably smaller than the rest, and she still had fairly significant part.
