Quidditch Sign Ups by DH Skies
There were two ways this was going to go. Either a ragtag handful of players was going to sign up and she would have to run their try out, which might extend to ensuring they didn't kill themselves or each other, then negotiate with the remains of the Teppenpaw team to try to fuse them into a team with someone to co-ordinate them and keep them from killing each other. The other option was that one of the older students would realise that they had a burning desire to lead a Quidditch team that they'd never realised until now and would inspire six others to sign up, then gallantly lead them with little to no support from her. She knew which option she preferred the sound of but also which was more likely....Crotalus Quidditch Try Outs read the notice in the Common Room, in bold, glittering silver letters. In normal font, it continued, will be held on the pitch this Saturday. All abilities welcome. To assist with the smooth running of try-outs, those interested should sign up with their name, year and any preferred position(s) below, though walk-ons will also be welcome. Anyone interested in applying for the position of captain should speak to Professor Skies before Saturday.
If anyone was bold enough to put themselves up for that, then at least she wouldn't be running the try outs on her own...
OOC – please sign up below if interested. Posts must reach the 200 word site minimum – try talking about why your character is signing up or how they feel about it. If anyone is interested in being Captain, you do not have to have a separate thread with me but make sure it is mentioned in your post. For example 'He would be sure to see Professor Skies later about being captain.' When tryouts are posted, it will be assumed that anyone who does this has seen Professor Skies and been asked to help out.
