Unhappy... by Theo Manzana
Theo exited his dorm way too early for a Saturday, he looked down at his watch and groaned it was only six am. ‘Who got up this early on a day of rest?’ He thought to himself as he flopped down on the couch. He had a ton of work to get done before midterm and he planned on getting it done today that way he could have all the time at home not laded down with homework. He claimed his usual desk by the window and took out his Charms textbook, a roll of parchment, and a self inking quill. He added a dozen more of these to his ever growing midterm school supplies shopping list.He worked diligently through the hour as a few more students trickled into the commons and down to breakfast, yet the commons remain relatively empty which didn’t surprise Theo. He was quite happy he didn’t have to leave for the library just yet. He hoped to at least finish the Charms paper before going to Cascade Hall for a quick breakfast before going to the library and working through lunch until dinner. Finally after what seemed like forever the paper was done, he was blowing on the ink to dry it a little faster when someone swept by and knocked into the desk causing the inkwell to spill all over his paper.
“Hey!” He cried unhappily. “I worked on this all morning and it’s ruined just because you were in a big friggin hurry!”
