Welcome to Sonora - it's great to have you. This is an 'out of character' post, meaning that I'm addressing you as an author, rather than in character. I'm a bit unsure whether your post was in character or out of character.
If it was in character.... Posts need to be 200 words, written in third person ('she/Bonnie' rather than 'I/me' except for dialogue), past tense, and in a narrative style - much like most books are written, or how you wrote your sample post on your application. If you aren't sure what is expected, have a read through some of the other posts on the site to get the idea.
If it was out of character.... And you want some more guidance on how to post here, please post on the OOC (out of character) board.
You can also go into the student chatzy (linked from your acceptance email) to talk to other authors, or find more information at the FAQ.
We were all new once and it can be confusing at first, but hopefully you'll quickly get the hang of it and enjoy writing with us.
