First year girls' dorm - getting to know you by Elly Eriksson

After her first day of lessons, Elly was far from exhausted. She’d met several great people in only the first couple of days at Sonora. Yes, she smiled to herself, this was all going to be okay. Elly headed straight through the noisy common room and to her dormitory. After the feast the night before, all the new girls, herself included, had practically fallen in to bed and straight to sleep. Seeing as she was going to be spending several years living with these people, Elly thought it was probably best to get to know them better.

She slung her bag onto her freshly made bed (though she was sure it had been a mess when she left it that morning) and released her wild curls from the band that had held them in check all day. Orange hair tumbled down her back as Elly flung her robes off, too, leaving her standing in short denim cut-offs and a plain white t-shirt.

Now all she had to do was wait until the other first year Pecari females came to dump their bags before eating, then Elly could introduce herself. She heard footsteps approaching. Elly had thought that Meredith hadn’t been far behind her as she’d hurried back from their last lesson. Elly tugged her bag from her bed and replaced it on the floor, then sprawled out on the bed herself, facing the ceiling, waiting for someone to join her.

You're in for a surprise! by Caedence Redoak

Caedence sighed as she opend up the door to the dorms. Seeing a girl on her bed she gave her a small glance out of the corner of her eye. What was this? An intervention?

She threw her bags on her bed. Plopping down hse spread out her arms. Sighing she realised how much she liked the shade. Despite her tan, she still managed to catch a sunburn. Grabbing the tie for her braid she tugged it off.

Glancing dangerously at the girl on the bed she said, "Tell no one that I took this out,"softening her glance she added, "my braid to me is like a wand in a duel. It is what counts. But it got so snarled in that desert air i just have to brush it out! You understand. Just do not ever repeat this."

Grabbing her brush she brushed it out thouroghly and got all of the snarls out. Then she tied it back in a braid. When she was satisfied it was sharp enough, she tied it off. "Now obviosly you have something to say. What is it?"she asked. \n\n

Try me. by Elly

To Elly’s surprise, the girl whose footsteps followed her into the dormitory did not belong to Meredith Lail, but to a girl Elly hadn’t yet spoken to. Elly opened her mouth to say hi, but the girl went straight to her bed and didn’t really seem in the best mood for a chat. Elly was still debating whether or not to say anything, when the girl snapped at her. She glared, and she snapped, going on about her hair. Elly was bewildered! This person’s appearance obviously meant a lot to her, and Elly had never really met anyone who considered their physical appearance to be a fundamental part of their personality.

Elly was just considering how interesting it would be to discuss how and why looks could be so important, when the other girl spoke. "Now obviously you have something to say. What is it?"she asked.

Shaken from her musings, Elly took a couple of seconds to find her bearings. In the pause before she spoke, Elly’s signature wide, goofy smile crept onto her face before she could stop it. “I just wanted to get to know you,” Elly said to the girl, “seeing as we’re sharing a room.” She sat up and leant against her pillows to get a better view of the girl with a pointy plait. “I’m Elly Eriksson. What’s your name?”

Fine then I shall! by Caedence

"My name is Caedence;Caedence Redoak that is. Half blood. Mum's a witch, Dad's a muggle. However, Mum don't count too awful well since she can hardly do the simplest household spells! And Dad doesn't belive in magic anyways. So what's your history? Perfect pureblood? Muggle-raised muggleborn? Or half-way halfblood like me? Forgive the emotomotopeum(forgive me if I spelled that wrong. What a bugger to spell! I just sounded it out ^_^) but I couldn't resist. Do tell, what is your story?"she couldn't even tell herself if she was being pleasant company or just being a jerk.

This girl was an odd one! First off, she has seemed put off, surprised, unsure and...goofy? Honestly, with that smile she couldn't be one of those goody-goody pureblood jerks that Caedence herself often emulated. Yet she didn't act like she was muggle-born either. What got Caedence is, rather than be put off by her usual snobish outlook on life, this girl kept on trying to gain her friendship. With bravery like that, who needs girlscouts? To humor Elly, however, she gave her a small smile. That was it, just a small one. Then her usual stern look was put back on. Just enough to tell Elly that there was no open hostility, but that she wasn't the type to do up toenails and giggle about boys all night long either. \n\n

OK by Elly

Elly listened as Caedence introduced herself and spoke a little about her family. Elly couldn’t help grinning at the irony of Caedence’s father not believing in magic when he wife and daughter were both witches! Elly supposed her family were more simple in that respect; none of them had believed in magi...il Elly was accepted to Sonora – now all of them did, but Elly was the only one capable of performing it.

“I’m muggleborn,” Elly said, smiling her less goofy, more relaxed smile. She liked Caedence, who obviously felt she needed to put up a tough front, but Elly had caught a smile. There was definitely a smile in their somewhere, and Elly knew that if a person could smile they were often inviting you to do the same. Elly wondered why Caedence felt she had to be so guarded. Perhaps she’d been bullied in the past and this was her defense? Elly prevented herself from asking (after all, they had only just met), and instead said, “So is it just you and your parents, then? I live with my mum. My dad technically lives there, too, but he’s always away with work and stuff. I’ve got no brothers or sisters, is what I mean to say,” she finished, pleased that her rambling hadn’t got too out of hand. Elly smiled again at Caedence, hoping she didn’t think she was being too nosey.

I'll just slip in here. by Meredith

Meredith did follow Elly back from classes, but her mind was sidetracked back in the common room while Elly kept going upstairs. She guessed that in her excitement, she missed the notice board. A sign for the quidditch team was tacked up there. Meredith didn’t care how old she was. She was always ready for a game of Quidditch. She wasn’t half bad either. She walked over, skimming the note from the captain…no wait. There were two captains. Well that was interesting. Meredith shrugged. It looked like they were siblings so shared captaincy didn’t seem strange anymore. Meredith frowned a little when she saw her position was filled already and by the captains no less. Oh well. She could always be a substitute if either of them couldn’t play for whatever reason. She made a note to tell them that when she figured out who they were. Meredith adjusted her bag on her shoulder and made her way upstairs. She opened the door and saw Elly. She walked in talking, not realizing there was another girl there.

“Hey Elly.” She started to get her attention. She walked over to her own bed past Elly’s. “I just saw the quidditch sign up sheet. I wonder if they’d let me be a substitute or something. My position is already filled up and I’m not as good at the other ones. I wonder if they let first years play at all. Oh wait, I saw another first year’s name there for something.” It slipped her mind that Elly was a muggleborn and may not know about quidditch. She dropped her bag on her bed before turning and seeing the other girl.

“Oh hi there.” She said to the girl. “I’m Meredith Lail. I guess ya’ll two know each other already. You are?” she dropped onto her bed cross legged, bouncing slightly which made some of her hair flop in her face. She blew it out of her eyes and looked at the girl.\n\n

Welcome! by Elly

Before Caedence could answer, the door opened again and Meredith strolled in. “Hey Elly,” she said; she obviously didn’t notice that there was another person in the room.

“Hey, Meredith,” Elly replied. Meredith kept on talking as she went over to her bed and dumped her bag. She was talking about Quidditch. Elly didn’t know much about the sport, except that it was played on broomsticks, but she was beginning to understand that it was a big deal with these magic folk. Everyone talked about Quidditch. According to Meredith, there was a sign-up sheet in the common room, which Elly hadn’t noticed in her hurry up to the dormitory. Elly thought it would be fun to be on a school sports team again – she was captain of the hockey team in her last school – but seeing as she didn’t know anything about Quidditch, not to mention the fact that she had never so much as held a broomstick, Elly decided to leave it to the other students for now. Maybe she would sign up next year.

It was a short while until Meredith noticed Caedence. “Oh hi there,” she said. Elly decided to jump in with the introductions.

“Meredith, this is Caedence Redoak. Caedence, this is Meredith,” Elly said, smiling. After the girls had acknowledged each other, Elly said, “What Quidditch position did you want, Meredith? In fact, just tell me about Quidditch - I don’t know anything!” Elly laughed at herself, and curled her body around on her bed, so she was now lying on her stomach, leaning on her elbows and facing the centre of the room.

Not knowing quidditch? *gasp* by Caedence

Caedence stiffended when she saw the new girl. "Hello. Caedence Redoak. Halfblood."she said ignoring the fact that Elly had done the introducing already. She perferred that she introduce herself. "Before we get all touchy feely telling the deep dark secrets of our life, I think I'll talk to Elly about quiditch. Oh and by the way, it's just me mum and dad.(ooc:If my profile contradicts this, if it is up, then go with this version!)"

Sitting up straighter one could see the fire behind her eyes. Taking out her book on famous beaters she tossed it, and one about chasers, to Elly,"Try giving these a read. It explains chasing and beating better. The two captians are beaters. That is my favorite position. Beaters use bats that are about twice the thickness of baseball bats, but half the size. They use these to hit two rock-like balls away from their players and at the others. Those rock-like balls are called bludgers and their job is to hurt as many players as badly as they can. Myself i've broken my nose twice, dislocated a shoulder and broken my ankle. In total I've caused about the same injuries. Beaters are big and thuglike, though I consider myself an exception seeing as I'm muscular, but kind of wiry too. They keep both hands off the broom and on the bat.

"Chasers use a red ball called the quaffle and try and score goals by throwing it through one of three gold hoops. These hoops are about a hundred feet up. The keeper is like the goalie. He trys to guard the hoops. They are the ones who get most of the action. They are built well and hawklike. They play with one hand on the broom.

"The seeker is by far the most importiant player. He or she looks for a tiny winged golden ball called the snitch. The snitch's wings are ball and socet type jointed so that it can move quick and make quick sharp turns. It's a devil to see and worse to catch. But the seeker has to. It gets the seekers team a hundred and fifty points. Usually their team wins. This player is small and light. They've got to fly with no or one hand on the broom. Got it?" she finished after a while. Her smile came back, though when she finished she quickly wiped it off. Smiling wasn't what she did often. \n\n

*muggleborn* by Elly

Elly listened to Caedence go on and on and on about Quidditch – she was obviously a fan. Elly glanced over at Meredith and, catching her eye, tried hard not to giggle because she thought it would offend Caedence. Elly tried her best to keep up; beaters, chasers, seeker… it all sounded a bit complicated. Caedence had thrown a couple of books Elly’s direction, which had thankfully landed on the bed next to her rather than on Elly herself. She peered at the covers – the pictures were moving.

Got it?” Caedence asked when she had finished her in depth description of the positions. She smiled again, which Elly latched onto and smiled back broadly.

“Not really, no,” she admitted. She laughed a bit. “But thanks very much for trying – I do understand it a bit better.” She indicated the books, “I’ll read these and maybe I’ll have a better idea after watching a game. Thanks for lending these to me,” Elly said, still smiling.

“So you want to be a beater, but the captains are beaters, is that what you said?” Elly chewed her lip. “I guess you could always substitute, or maybe try a different position?” She brushed a large handful of long curly hair back behind her shoulder. She thought maybe Caedence and Meredith would want to have a chat about Quidditch. Elly wondered whether any other first year Pecaris would come to the girls’ dorm.

Caedence sighed in frustration. Muggleborns did have a tough time in the wizarding world. Being half muggle herself, she understood. But still with the whole step-by-step explination it should be a little clearer.

"Well, we have a library also. I'll get you some books. Never fear! You shall be a quidditch smart person in no time!" This time, she let out a small laugh.

Elly sure seemed..diferent. Most people didn't quite like Caedence save that one guy with the heart problem, but this girl seemed...oddly determened. She wouldn't leave her, she was being nice. What in the world did Caedence do wrong? Thinking back she concluded that it was the smile. Well she just wouldn't do that again. With a small sigh she took out her extra beater book and read it. Now the talk was with her friend and Caedence didn't mind one bit. though she noticed that she just couldn't keep her whole mind on reading.\n\n

*nods in agreement with both* by Meredith

Meredith cocked her head to the side as a first reaction to Caedence. She wasn’t sure how to describe the girl. She seemed sort of snobby and Meredith didn’t know why she needed to add that she was a halfblood in her description. It never mattered to her. Meredith mentally shrugged and gestured towards Elly when Caedence said she would tell her about Quidditch. Meredith wouldn’t have had a problem with it, but if Caedence insisted, she could if she wanted to. Meredith caught Elly’s glance and simply nudged her head towards Caedence. The girl did insist. Her explanation was long. Meredith bounced lightly on her bed while Caedence spoke. She peeked over her bed a moment to spy on Pence in his cage. He was settling down to sleep.

Caedence did explain everything pretty thoroughly, but Elly still didn’t understand. Meredith guessed if you weren’t used to the sport it might be a bit complicated. Caedence seemed to be nice towards Elly. Maybe she just put up a front until you got to know her better. Meredith knew people like that.

“She’s right Elly. Quidditch isn’t so complicated really. There are some rules, yeah, but Caedence covered the basics. There’s a seeker, a keeper, two beaters, and three chasers.” She counted them off on her fingers. “She already told you what each one does and told you about the three kinds of balls in the game.” Meredith looked over at Caedence who was looking at a book on beaters.

“So you’re a beater too, huh? That was the position I wanted. I don’t think we can get it from the captains though. We might be able to substitute.” Then Meredith remembered something. “Oh, it was your name I saw on the sheet, but you signed up for chaser. Do you just play beater and chaser or do you play all the positions?”\n\n

*nods until dizzy*woah dizzy... by Caedence Redoak

Caedence sighed with irritation. It wasn't real, but why not. Not everyone could deal with Caedence and if Meridith and Elly couldn't their loss. “Oh, it was your name I saw on the sheet, but you signed up for chaser. Do you just play beater and chaser or do you play all the positions?” So she wanted to know about Caedence's position. Was this girl in for some long-winded talk about the same thing over and over! She grinned, but it was like the grin of a pained person. Great, rub it in that she, a firstie, couldn't play her favorite spot since it was already taken.

"well! you see my dear..Mary, wasn't it?" she didn't mean to make the wrong name come out, it was just habit, "I love playing beater. All te combat. The danger! Excitement really! A great chance to cause mischeif! The only thing I dont like is I can cause trouble, but I wont get into trouble. Half of life's fun is getting into trouble! I love quidditch in general. Quidditch is my life. the danger! The excitement! Oh how much it gets your heart pounding! How it gets the head whirling! And how you plummet when you dive down to get that bldger before it breaks the bones of your teamates.

Then I saw that list! No beaters at all! You can imagine how mad I was. Though, if you saw, I said I'd try and sub. And that I was flexible. Now, I am built for bludger bashing. Very muscular, as you can see. Unlike most prissy girlie girls,. I can hold my own. Great upper body strength. No way will I sit around giggling with my nails painted pink. Alright, you might get the occasional laugh out of my, but dont expect it too often. I love being beater. How enthusing! But alas, it was already taken up. As for why I decided Chaser, I dont want to be blamed for making everything go wrong. That put ou tkeeper. Also, I was never the best at hide-and-seek with people let alone a wickedly small goden winged ball. So no seeker. Only option left, even Elly could say...no offence though Elly...is Chaser. Not too bad an option either. No big pressure, not always blamed, and still requires thought and skill, but most importiant it is in the action! That is why. But I just want to play quidditch, so if I cant be chaser, I'll take keeper, then seeker. Chaser is rather popular, so I'm reasonable." with a sigh she finished. The whole time she talked, the book was still in front of her face. Though she progected so that Merideth and Elly could hear.\n\n

sit down and stop nodding! by Elly

Elly looked over to Meredith and once again had to bite her bottom lip to stop her laughing out loud. Luckily, Caedence was engrossed in a book and couldn’t see. Caedence was odd, Elly thought. Nice enough, but it would obviously take work to cultivate a friendship. Still, making friends wasn’t always easy as it had been with Meredith.

Elly had always been surrounded by friends at her last school. She was popular and well-liked; most people knew her name even if they had never spoken to her. Elly guessed that it was only partly to do with her friendliness, and rather a lot of it has to do with her being captain of the school hockey team, leading them to victory in every game they ever played. Therefore, Elly could empathise with Caedence’s fervour with Quidditch, but not with the cold front she put on. Sonora was different from her own school in many respects. Most importantly, of course, people had wands here and could do magic. Though just as importantly to Elly, it was a boarding school. This was a bit strange. Ever since she could remember, Elly had been pretty much at home on her own. She was an only child and her father worked away a lot. Her mother was often at home, but they didn’t tend to get on very well, so had often avoided each others’ company. Elly had never had any pets, either, because her mother disliked animals. Suddenly, having to share not only a bedroom but all her meals, too, was a bit alien to Elly. Still, at least Meredith was one of these people, which meant that there would always be someone smiling, besides Elly herself.

Elly turned to her friend, who was sitting on the bed next to her. “So, how’d you find the first day?” Elly asked. “Think it’s going to be okay here?”

Point taken by Meredith

Meredith stopped bouncing as Caedence started talking. My dear? Meredith had never heard anyone her age speak that way unless they were kidding around acting like one of their parents. She supposed it was just a mistake when she called her by the wrong name. She tended to give people the benefit of the doubt.

"Meredith," she corrected evenly, fitting it in just before Caedence kept speaking. She went on as if reciting poetry. And all the while she stayed behind her book. Meredith caught Elly's glance yet again and this time grinned back at her with a very subtle roll of her eyes. When Caedence finished her speech about the excitement and danger of Quidditch, still looking at her book, Elly looked back at her and spoke. She seemed to think that Caedence didn't want to continue the conversation either. Meredith wondered why she was acting that way. Maybe she was just a naturally introverted person, but that was a strange concept to Meredith who was a natural extrovert.

“So far, so good. I think it’s gonna be just great here. Care of Magical Creatures was cool. I sure hope the rest of the classes are like that. Somehow I doubt it though.” Meredith laughed and laid back on her bed, still looking over at Elly. “I bet this place’ll be even better when we get to exploring it, don’t you think?” \n\n

“I bet this place’ll be even better when we get to exploring it, don’t you think?” Meredith asked.

Elly nodded fervently. “We can explore the halls and the gardens, and make maps and build swings!” Elly said, her eyes shining with enthusiasm. “Where shall we start? I’ve hardly been anywhere, yet, except the Hall and classes.” Elly paused, firstly to breathe, and secondly to control her rambling. She was so conscious of it at the moment because the people around her were basically strangers. Elly knew that once she’d known people for a while she’d start rambling full swing again. Until then, however, she thought it best to keep incessant rambling to a minimum.

“Hmm,” Elly frowned at Meredith and shuffled over onto her friend’s bed, so she was sitting facing her cross-legged. “Maybe we could start with the library? There are always secret passages in libraries.” She grinned, “Maybe I could get some more books on Quidditch while I’m there?” Elly smiled wickedly, glancing once over to Caedence to check she hadn’t taken offence, but the girl seemed to be resolutely engrossed in her book. Elly turned back to Meredith. “What do you think?”

Uh oh! by Elly

Uh oh. Elly hadn’t meant for that to happen. Apparently Caedence hadn’t been as engrossed in her book as she had appeared to be. In fact, she had been eavesdropping on Elly’s conversation with Meredith. More to the point, she now wanted to join their exploration party. Elly really didn’t want to invite Caendence to explore with them. Their team had already been decided: Elly, Meredith and Echo. If Caedence came, too, then there’d be four of them, and four was too many to go exploring with. Three was the ideal number, and they already had three people. Plus Elly was absolutely confident that Echo and Caedence wouldn’t get on very well.

Elly bit her lip and furrowed her brow. “Er…” she said. She didn’t want to offend Caedence, particularly as she might just withdraw further into her defensive shell, and Elly thought she had come pretty far out of it for a first encounter. Ugh, why did Caedence want to go exploring, anyway? She was so sharp and cold – explorers were bubbly and outgoing, like Elly and Meredith… not so much Echo, but he was getting there. Elly’s eyes flicked rapidly between Caedence and Meredith, silently hoping for one of them to say something. This was exactly the kind of friendship confrontation with which Elly had never been comfortable. She did want to be Caedence’s friend, after all.

Caedence sensed the tension she just caused. Merideth and Elly obviously were planning to go alone. However, why mention it around her? She could have waited until after she left. Caedence's brow furrowed ever so slightly as she thought how to get into the fun, without making them miserable. Then a new thought hit Caedence. Why did she ever care? Why?

"Well, you know, everyone needs a lookout. You know, the teacher Drake O'Leary? I heard he's a right-out bugger if you get to him. He might be in the library when you try and explore it. Who's to say that he wont notice you poking around? I will gladly risk getting caught, stay behind, and send a warning to you if O'Leary happens to show up getting mad. You know, like a lookout? I'll pretend to be reading a book. That way, the group will be smaller and less noticable. Also, O'Leary wont catch and possibly horribly punish you guys. Sound good?"She suggested. Besides, she thought to herself, I need to get Elly some educational books on quidditch anyways.\n\n

Could get her into trouble by Elly

Elly was a bit taken aback by Caedence practically pleading to join them on their adventures. As she thought about it, Elly realized she didn’t particularly mind if Caedence joined them, especially if she was only going to be a look-out. However, Elly was still quite sure that Caedence and Echo would find it quite difficult to get along, and Echo had been so enthusiastic and practical in his approach to exploring that Elly felt, if given the choice, that she would rather go with Meredith and Echo, not with Caedence. It wasn’t that she disliked the girl, but she did seem quite changeable. It was just common sense to get to know someone before going exploring with them. But how to let her down gently?

An idea occurred to Elly as suddenly as one would jump having just trod barefoot on a bee. She turned round on Meredith’s bed to face Cadence. “It does sound like a good idea,” Elly started slowly, “but it’s not really our decision. You see, our group has a leader – Meredith and I are just tag-alongs.” Elly crossed her fingers behind her back so that Meredith could tell what she was up to without Caedence seeing. “We’ll have to put forward the idea to our leader. But thanks for offering to help!” she finished brightly, smiling at Caedence. Internally she was sighing. Great, she was lying to people already. That usually wasn’t something that happened until Elly got into trouble. She couldn’t be in trouble yet, surely?

We're not looking for trouble, just fun by Meredith

Meredith hadn't really thought Caedence was listening to them anymore when she had mentioned exploring. The girl didn’t seem to want anything to do with them. She certainly didn’t think she’d be interested in exploring with them. Meredith didn't want to go then and there anyway. She didn’t want to go to the library either but she guessed it was a place to go. She’d have to get there eventually if she wanted to see the whole school, but she wondered what secrets they’d find in there. Her blue eyes followed back and forth between Elly and Caedence and Elly lying out of the blue. She caught sight of Elly's crossed fingers through the corner of her eye. She could be subtle when she wanted to be. She looked at Elly’s face hoping not to bust into a fit of laughter at the thought of Echo being their leader. That was rich.

Meredith didn't really want Caedence to come either, but she supposed she brought up a point. Maybe the teachers that weren't Professor Kijewski were sticks in the mud. They might take simple exploring for trouble making. Meredith was all for fun, but she was not a big trouble maker. She hadn’t heard of that Drake O’ Leary teacher before now. He could be a pain for later on.

"Yeah, it’s awful nice that you’d be willing to do that even though we only just met. It’s much appreciated.” Meredith nodded at Caedence after Elly finished. “If we went to the library though, I don't think looking around in there is a cause for alarm for the teachers, even that O’Leary guy. It'd just be a few curious students looking for a good read.” Meredith’s eyes drifted between Elly and Caedence. She thought they were doing a pretty decent job keeping the peace in the room. She didn't say a single word that contributed to Elly's fib, but she didn't denounce it either. She could tell Elly didn’t want Caedence with them, but Meredith couldn’t help but feel a little bad. She would’ve hated to be excluded. She decided to make an option that may or may not need to be used. She swore to be more careful in the future.

“We may need a look out if we go somewhere else and you'll be the first one to come to mind. We Pecaris ought to stick together, right? To help each other out, like that weird older boy from the feast. Remember Elly? The one that yelled across the table like you did.” Meredith laughed at the memory and hoped it’d sway the subject a bit.\n\n

Fun fun fun! by Elly

Elly was impressed with the way that Meredith was handling the situation. Not only was she offering to include Caedence without really including her, but she was doing it without lying. Elly made a mental note to just let Meredith handle awkward situations in future, it was far more successful.

Then Meredith recalled the older Pecari boy who’d yelled a reply to Elly’s shouted query at the Opening feast. ”Remember Elly?” Meredith asked, laughing.

Elly did remember, and she laughed back, very grateful that Meredith had changed the topic. “Yes!” she said between giggles. She’d found the episode amusing. “But I haven’t seen him since. He must be in third or fourth year, I reckon.”

Elly was really struggling. She wanted to keep talking to Meredith about exploring, and possibly meet up with Echo if they could find him. Of course, she couldn’t keep talking about exploring with Caedence in the room; that would just be rude. Not knowing what to do, Elly sat silently chewing her lip, looking round the room and wondering when she would meet the first year Pecari girls who occupied the other beds in the dorm.

Caedence smiled. They sure were making a fuss over Caedence's own desparate ploy at joining them. Though they didnt seem to not want Caedence along, they still didn't outright say it. Caedence admired that.

"Sure i can be on hand. Though do watch for O'Leary, I dont want you guys in trouble. Listen, i need to go down to the pitch. Must practice my quidditch. See you guys later!" She tugged on her beater gloves, waved and left. \n\n
