CHARMS CLUB! by Josiah Ashwood

Josaih examined the paper in his hand. It was kind of kindergarden-ish. But it was bright. Very bright. Which meant noticable. It was bright neon yellow with maroon letters. A bit on the school pride, he knew, but he couldn't help loving Teppenpaw. He tapped it once with his wand. It was a temporary spell, but it made sure that grafiti couldn't be put on the paper. He trusted his fellow classmates, but he had seen some of the schools while traveling with his father. Older students liked to grafiti anything they thought was stupid or that they didn't like the poster. This was added precaution.

He pinned it up the the notice board. He stepped back a bit to admire his handiwork and almost had to sheild his eyes. It was a tad bright, wasn't it? But he didn't know any spells to make it less in-your-face.

He hoped the formal use of his name didn't sound pompous, but he also liked to use that for formal documents. Underneath was a plain parchment with his family crest on the top. A sky blue background with a grey ashwood tree. He signed his own name for an example. Josaih Ashwood, first year \n\n

Yay! I like Charms!!! by Hikaru Kasuragi

Hikaru sighed as he entered back into the Common Room, he was exhausted from the days long winded classes and activities. He missed his Puffskien Leon, but he knew it was his fault for not getting permission from his godfather. He noticed a very....interseting notice on the board. He strolled over and looked at the childish hand writing (not that his was much better...) and began to read what it said.

Hikaru raised an eyebrow I didn't know that my roomate was this, interesting.... Hikaru looked at the sign up line and saw only one name, Josaih Ashwood. He thought that it would be a fun experience and he would get to learn more spells! He scowled at it for a moment and sighed to himself Whatever, I doubt that I'm going to have any more one on one lessons with McKindy unless, I ask... Hikaru took out a mechanical pencil and wrote his name down in careful, neat, lettering Hikaru Kasuragi, first year.\n\n

Gwyneth stopped in front of the notice board for the third time today. She had read the notice that a Charms Club was forming every day for a full week. She just couldn't make up her mind what to do. On the one hand, she really wasn't very good at charms and was afraid that this club was for the older students who had far more experience than she did. On the other hand, she really wasn't very good at charms but hoped this club might be the way for her to learn and practice a skill she now knew she needed to perfect.

So still undecided, she walked away from the board, only to return and read the notice again a few minutes later. 'What am I going to do? I can't keep stopping here to look at the sign every day, the other kids will start to wonder if I can even read it! Really, this shouldn't be such a hard decision. We're not talking about creating world peace or anything,' she thought to herself. 'Okay, I can always sign up and go to the first couple of meetings to check it out. If it really is for older, more experienced students, then I can leave,' she reasoned with herself. After a few more seconds of internal debate, she glanced around the room to make sure no one had been watching her ridiculous dance of indecision. Then she pulled out her pen and hurriedly signed her name . . .
