Anniversary by Hyana Kamiya

Well, today was the day. Today was the anniversary of her father and sister's death. Both of them loved books, just like Hyana. What better way to think of them by spending the day in the library. She went over to the shelf and grabbed a book on magical creatures. That was her favorite subject so far.

She sat down at a table and pulled out a notebook. In there she listed some of the animals she wanted to see, and some drawings too. She didn't draw animals though. She drew landscapes and, more importantly, people. Hyana didn't believe that her father and sister were dead. She drew people so she could get used to it, then she started ageing people's faces. She hoped that she could use this skill to draw her sister and her father so she could file it to the police. Then she might find them again. She was deep in her book when she felt the table move slightly. She looked up. "Y-yes?"\n\n

The Kitsune is Here!!!! by Hikaru Kasuragi

Hikaru strolled happily into the Library not looking for anyone in particular, his kitsune (fox) had arrived that morning! He was absolutley adorable! Hikaru had named him Aisu for his gray-white fur. (A/N: Aisu is Ice in Japanese) Hikaru strolled through the Library and saw a book of hexes on the shelf, he pulled it off and was amazed that it was a very high level book.

He looked up at Aisu who was sitting on his head "What do you think about the book Aisu?" he asked his fox. The small fox pup yawned and fell asleep again, Hikaru smiled and noticed Hyana was stting at a table by herself drawing. He wanted to go over and say hi but, she seemed like she was waiting for something.

He walked quickly behind her and moved as silently as possible to a table directly across from her. He took Aisu down from his head and set him in his lap and began to devour the book he had just gotten. He sighed to himself as his uncle had sent him a remover kit for his tattoos, he had commanded that they needed to be gone the next time he saw him. Hikaru had snuck into the bathroom that morning and he had thought that everyone in Sonora had heard him scream.

He looked back at Hyana and finally pulled out a sheet of paper and wrote a small note on it 'Dear Hyana, just wondered what you were up to...I have Aisu (my kitsune) with me so, I'm right across from you so you can come over if you want to...See you later, Hikaru' He wrote the note in hiragana and knew that almost no one would be able to read it and threw it over in her direction. It landed near her on the table and he really hoped she picked it up.\n\n

Yay! by Hyana

Hyana looked down at the table and realized that she wasn't talking to a person, but to a slip of paper. Of course. I am such a baka. She picked up the paper and read it. She looked up from the note and saw Hikaru. She folded up the note and put it in her pocket. Couldn't Hikaru see what she was she was going through right now? Of course he couldn't...no one could. It didn't really matter anyway.

She gave him a sad smile. He did have his Kitsune after all. Aisu...ice. That's what her heart and body felt like right now. For a second she knew she was about to cry and wiped away her tears right away. I will not cry here. Not now. Going back to her book and drawing, she waited for Hikaru to come over. She knew he would, and personally, she didn't care. She had always been alone on this day. Would her sister and father want her to change that?\n\n

Oh yeah! by Hikaru

Hikaru looked at Hyana concernedly and walked over to her, he pulled the chair over next to her and sat down "Hey Hyana, whats the matter?" he saw Aisu climb up out of his arms and jump up on the table. Aisu walked over to Hyana and sniffed her, then stared at her with its sweet brown eyes. It stared at her for a little while more and licked her cheek a little.

Hikaru giggled "He really likes you Hyana!" his fox was turning out to be quite the social butterfly. He looked at the pictures Hyana was drawing and was amazed "These are really good Hyana! I didn't know that you were an artist!" They were really intricate drawings and Hikaru liked them alot!\n\n

Whoohoo! by Hyana

As Hyana predicted, Hikaru had come over. Hey, Hyana, what's the matter? She shook her head. He didn't need to know what was wrong. Nobody needed to know. The fox Hikaru had called Aisu in his note walked across the table to her and licked her cheek. She smiled and scractched it behind the ears. "You're so kawaii." She whispered. And indeed it was.

I didn't know you were an artist! Hikaru practically exclaimed. Hyana looked at her notebook and smiled. "Yeah..." she said sadly. "My s...my sister taught me how to draw when I was very young. She was going to teach me how to age people...but..." Her voice broke. She buried her head in Aisu's side. It's fur was soft and warm. It was very comforting. She wished that this day would never come. She hated this day. No one knew and no one cared about what she was going through. Her head still buried in Aisu's pelt, she asked, "Is Aisu a boy or a girl?" Her voice was muffled, let alone barely understandable for the fact that she was choking back tears. Her notebook stayed next to her, untouched.\n\n
