At the beginning of the week, there were some issues with the site. Unfortunately, do to the nature of the problem that caused the issue, we have lost all data entered into the database since the last back-up on March 13. So, if you made profile changes, submitted an app, or created an account since that date, you will probably need to do it again.

Concert Plans by DH Skies

Just a reminder to prefects (especially seventh year ones) that concert plans were kinda due in at Midterm.

Some of the meetings were less active than others, and I do understand it's not always easy to get a coherent plan together from such threads. It's therefore up to you where you take it from here.

I certainly have ideas for rehearsal posts and people working on their bits for my Teppenpaws, which is why I've gone with getting a plan in, so we can move on to other stuff. However, the purpose here is for fun and for posting. So, if you all want to spend more time decision making (either by continuing meetings, or by having a first rehearsal that is still a 'figuring things out' process) then that's fine.

If you feel you can work out a rough consensus from what was posted and move on from there, also good.

Whatever works for you, just hoping to see the ball keep rolling on all of these, and people having chances to interact.

Let me or your fellow prefects know if you need help.

So ... we’re going to do a play interspersed with demonstrations.

We’re going to need volunteers for 2 actors (or more if we have a lot of volunteers), 1 narrator, and some people to demonstrate things (and what you want to demonstrate). We could also use some people to do backstage stuff like sets, costumes, and effects, if anyone wants to do that.

I am assuming this discussion already took place over the course of the fall term and all ideas are incorporated into the script and plan submitted to Professor Wright, so just add what you’re volunteering for and your suggestions below so I know what to talk about in our first rehearsal. You do not need to have been at the first planning meeting to be involved.

It seems like we've got two options at the moment:

1. Quidditch
2. An adventure play

Please vote on either the first or second option and what role you'd like to have. Lily herself is biased towards the adventure play idea and, of course, being one of the main characters.

Hilda doesn’t really know what’s going on, but she recognizes the word for Quidditch so if she understood a vote was happening, that’s what she’d vote for.

She will gladly fly a broom but she wants no speaking parts.

Adventure speaks to Evelyn's soul. I think she'd like any sort of stunt or performance based activity, but would be happy to help behind the scenes with setbuilding and such too.
