Approaching the Quidditch Coach by Patrick Jenkins

OOC: This is in no way associated with Saul Pierce's post below, also pegged onto the midterm post to be 'before' midterm. BIC:

Patrick tugged at the side of his robe, getting it back to looking more formal and neat after his walk to the Quidditch Pitch. He looked inside, briefly, and then made his way to the office of the Quidditch Coach, reviewing his notes one last time as he did so. When he arrived, he knocked, three sharp raps.

There was the possibility, he noted, that she might not be in. She was, after all, just returned to her old position on - he doublechecked again - the Florida Heliopaths. Dubious territory, he thought to himself. Essentially in a Cabinet influenced state, although the Council considered itself to have a stronger hold over the southern states, just as it did over the western.

He knocked again.

"Ah, Miss Fox, I presume," he said when the door opened. "I'm Pat Jenkins. I was wondering if I could have a little of your time."

His words were polite, and so was his tone. But underneath the politeness there was a hint that he expected her reply to be an affirmative, and there might be trouble if it wasn't.\r\n\r\n
