Quidditch Captains by Coach Amelia Pierce

Could you please have your try-outs up by the end of the week, so that we can be on schedule for the first Quidditch game of the year? You each have now been assigned an assistant, so if you don't think you can get this up before next week, please ask them to cover you and run the try-out.

Thank you,
Coach Pierce

Quidditch Players by Coach Amelia Pierce

If you're interested in playing Quidditch this year, please sign up on the sheets in your House common room as soon as possible, so your Captains don't need to have heart failure when they don't have seven names to put on a roster for me.

Quick try-out question by Demelza Eagle

How do the try-outs work? I mean, like how do you actually try out? What do we have to write for the post? Sorry, i'm just an interested little firstie! ;)

Quick try-out answer by Coach Pierce

Basically, what's going to happen is your captain will make a post on the Quidditch Pitch. They'll give more specific details about what they expect from you, but you'll write a post like you do anywhere else. The quality of that post is what will win you a position or a game, rather than how well your character catches every pass or blocks every goal attempt, so don't try to be prefect.
