[TAG] Jera and Seamus. Respond in haste. by Delany

Delany waited outside the dormitory doors for Jera and Seamus. They were her two closest friends at Sonora. She had a perfect idea. She scanned over the common rooms, looking for their familliar faces. When they were both in the common room, Delany smiled and waved her hand.

She hoped the other would come over soon. She was dying. Her insides were twisting and turning. She couldn't stand still and her legs were starting to kill her from standing so long. She looked around one more time before leaning against the wall. Exactly at that time her last friend walked into the common room and she excitadly waved them over to.

"Ok. I've been trying to get you two all day!" she said exasperated. "Have you seen the bulliten? Well...What if we start a stall?! It would be so much fun!" She said as she squealed slightly and jumped up and down twice.

Haste is not really my thing by Jera Valson

Jera had been in the library that afternoon, as usual. She'd done all of her homework already, but she didn't have many books at home, so she'd dropped in to check out some books for the holiday. As she understood it, Jera would spend most of midterm at home, but her Ma wanted her to be at school a couple of days either side the holiday while she finished up with some school-type stuff. Jera didn't know what - that wasn't important.

Having checked out three books - one fiction, two fact - Jera headed back to the commons. She followed in one of her yearmates, Seamus McFarlan, and immediately spied her roommate, Delany, who seemed to be waving them both over.

Delany looked rather excited, and she soon explained why. Jera had seen the notice in the morning, but hadn't really paid it much thought. Now Delany suggested it, she supposed it could be fun to run a stall together, but she wasn't entirely sure she was really that eager. Plus she didn't know Seamus all that well - he might not want to work in a stall with them.

"it sounds fun," she replied diplomatically, "but I'm not really sure I want to run a stall. I suppose it depends on the type. What sort of thing did you have in mind?"

Make haste, Not waste...[time] by Delany

Delany smiled as both her friends contemplated her idea. She couldn't wait. She had really hoped they said yes. The notice had suggested having three or more people in the stall.

Her smiling continued until she realized a crucial point. Jera and Seamus might not even know each other. That might effect the way the stall come out would happen. She quickly looked at them both and blurted,

"OH! I'm sorry. You two might not even know each other! Jera this is Seamus. I met him on feast night. We were charms partners and we explored the library together. Seamus this is Jera. She's my transfiguration partner and we walked around the labyrinth gardens. I hope you guys have some stuff in common. I know you'll be great friends."

She looked back over at them .She hoped that her little speech had broken the ice for them. Maybe now they would be more interested in the stall. She hoped so. It sounded like so much fun, and since they were her closest friends at Sonora, she hoped they would see the fun possibilities and join the stall.

"it sounds fun," she replied, "but I'm not really sure I want to run a stall. I suppose it depends on the type. What sort of thing did you have in mind?"

Delany's smile dropped again. She hadn't even thought about what the stall would be about. She thought they could choose a subject together and find something that all sparked their interests. Maybe they could sell something. Or have a game and give away prizes.

"Um, well I thought...Okay I didn't think but I was hoping we could find something that all sparked our interest and build off of that or leave it at that. There's plenty of room on the form." She said as she flourished a folded up piece of parchment. The form to having a stall that she had taken from underneath the notice in case they decided to do this. But they would have to turn it in soon.

"Look! there's lots of room for ideas. And it basically asks the questions that give you a stall, practically. PLEASE!!! It would be lots of fun. I promise." She said as she flipped the form around and haded it to them so they could look for themselves. She tough it was interesting, at least. She glanced back up at their faces to see their reaction.
