Calling Seamus McFarlan. And anyone else who wants to talk. by Delany

Delany sat around the dorm room. The last time she had seen Seamus, they had been leaving from charms. She wanted to ask him about what he was putting in his essay. Was he going to put in the friction? Or the mis-aim? She desparatly wanted to know.

She was in the blue highback armchair in front of the fire. She liked watching the flames. They were like exotic dancers. She sighed and rested her head on her hand. She looked around to the entrance as a group of students walked in. Nowhere in sight was Seamus. She sighed one more time and rested her feet up against the small table around the chairs. She returned to staring at the fire.

She didn't even notice when a shadow passed over her. She stared at the fire and turned to look over at the entrance again, only to have her view blocked by somebody.

"OH! Sorry. Did you need to get through? Sorry. Here let me move." She said as she quickly pulled her feet back. She stood up to look at the person.

"Hi. I'm Delany." She said as she held out her hand for a shake.

Seamus

Finally answering tag by Seamus

Seamus tried to put words to parchment but failed. Why was school getting so hard? In his per-magical school and catechism, everything came easy. Now he had to actually study. Charms, DADA, CoMC, Transfig., Potions, and HoM. All were demanding his attention. No far. He was supposed to sail through school and show up his big sisters at Hogwarts. They were all in Ravenclaw and that meant talent and brains. Aladren meant brains too but Seamus never counted on it meaning he would actually have to work!

Giving up, he thought he’d go out to the quidditch pitch and see if he could grab a pick up game. Some one mentioned a soccer game, but that sounded totally lame in a magic school. He still had a message for Zack, but every time he saw the Head Boy, he was rushing off somewhere or busy with some one or something else. Perhaps he could run into him at the prefect’s station.

Entering the common room, he spied one of his official first friends he’d met upon arrival at Sonora. Delany seemed preoccupied, but who could not love being in his amazing presence? Thanks to being in a house of five sister’s a mom and two aunties and grandmothers to spoil him, he’s honed flirting skills to a fine art.

“And what do ye see in the flames?” Seamus asked Delany good heartedly. “A portent of things to come?”

I knew you would. by Delany

Delany looked up from her chair to see Seamus standing there.

“And what do ye see in the flames?” Seamus asked. “A portent of things to come?”

Honsetly, Delany had no clue what a portent was. She looked up and smiled. There was no way she was telling Seamus that she didn't know what one of the words he said meant.

She paused slightly before responding. "No. No. They just look so cool. they look like they're solid, but your hand can pass right through them." She said as she glanced over at the fire.

"Anyway. I was hoping to see you. I was wondering what you were going to put in your essay. About...what we learned in class and stuff." She said trying not to start rambling. "Have any idea's?"
