finally here by Jordanna Howard

Jordanna was glad to arrive at her common room, along with Nicoletta and Skyla. She didn't know about the other two, but by now Jordanna was very tired. She couldn't wait to pick out her bed. Maybe she would leave unpacking for another night after all. She did have a lot of trunks to unpack. But then, she had had so much trouble picking out which clothes to take with her, she just had to take them all! Plus there were accesories and hair care and all other sorts of beauty care product she just had to take. Just thinking about all of it got her exhausted.

She gracefully covered her mouth as she yawned, enterring the 1st year Girls' Dorm, "So this is it," she looked around the room, examining it carefully before coming to her conclusion, "While it does leave something to be desired, I suppose that it will do for a dormitory."

She went through each of the eight beds in the dormitory, testing each mattress meticulously. The choice was between the one farthest from the door, and the third bed from the door. The bed second from the door wasn't all that bad either. After a moment of thinking, she decided.

"This shall be my bed while at Sonora," she declared, choosing the bed third from the door and sitting on it. After a moment she got up, returning to her friends.

"Your turn, Nicoletta," she said.\n\n

*Sigh* These beds are just not up to par. by Nicoletta Dupree

"Hmmm...what bed to choose," she said slowly. "After all, you took the best one."

Nicoletta didn't mind that Jordanna took the best bed, because none of the beds were really up to par with what she was used to at home. She wondered if she could have her father bring her a better bed. Maybe, if their fathers collaborated, they could both have new beds. She made a mental note to mention this to Jordanna when Skyla wasn't around.

For now, the bed she choose would have to do. She walked around each one, testing it out. Yes, the second best bed would have to be the second bed from the door.

"I choose this one," she said, sitting down on it. "Your turn, Skyla."

Turning to Jordanna, she whispered, "While she's busy picking out her bed, I was thinking that if our fathers worked together, maybe we could at least get the best mattresses delivered, if not new beds."\n\n

we could always fix that by Jordanna Howard

Jordanna loved the way Nicoletta thought. It was a good thing there bed's were next to each other, that way they had a chance to talk without Skyla's eavesdropping. And Merlin knows that Skyla certainly could be good at that.

"I suppose if I hit it off well with my teachers tomorrow, Daddy will buy anything I ask of him," Jordanna whispered back to her, "So I suppose for at least the first week, I'll have to be a good little girl. At least, good enough to stay out of trouble, seeing as Daddy will believe almost anything I say." She smiled because it was the absolute truth. Her father might be a shrewd businessman, but had one single weakness. His youngest daughter. And as long as Jordanna played her cards right, she could manipulate him like a puppet.

"What do you think for the mattresses hippogriff feathers, or diricawl feathers?" she asked Nicoletta again in a whisper.

Jordanna then turned to her cousin, acting as if she were impatient for Skyla to pick, although she wasn't. However, Jordanna could be a great actress when she wanted to be, "Come, Skyla, why don't you pick your bed already?"\n\n

Oh, we will. by Nicoletta

It was a pity that Nicoletta hadn't met Jordanna sooner. They seemed like a perfect fit. Both were rich, pure-blooded, had great fashion sense, and best of all, they thought alike. Yes, all in all, Jordanna was the friend that Nicoletta had always wanted rather than the posers she had been forced around at social functions.

"I think the diricawl feathers would be best. They are softer," she whispered, wondering what was taking Skyla so long in choosing a bed.
